I love these HDMI v. 2.1 cables. My first 3' cable lasted 30 minutes as I was pivoting the TV on the wall mount to make adjustments and pulled the cable from the male mount in the back of the TV (this cord was NOT a Monster brand). I needed only a 4' cord and this one was the only one I found. It's way more expensive than any other v.2.1 cord but seems to be well built and the length is perfect. With 13 speaker wires coming into my receiver, I am trying to minimize all other wires to the bare minimum in length. Version 2.1 sends a return signal to my receiver, so I don't need an optical cable if watching a TV with external speakers. I am quite happy with this product. ... show more

I had been having problems setting up an eARC connection between my Samsung 4k QN90A TV and my Onkyo TXRZ50 Receiver. To work according to Samsung, I needed a 2.1 HDMI HEAC or HEC cable. After power cycling both devices I connected this cable between receiver and TV and was finally able to play Dolby surround sound from the TV through the receiver to my 7.2 speakers. They are very nice HDMI cables but unfortunately after hooking them up, I did not notice any difference in sound or picture quality and I have one of the latest Samsung TVs. It’s not that I wouldn’t recommend these cables, but they did not work out for me other than that, give them a try maybe you’ll have better luck than I did. ... show more
