Got this game for my sons birthday. He loves playing it. You get to open new places to explore, New trucks to drive and try to Find where the (HIDDEN TRUCKS) are thru out the places you open. It is a great game. If your son or daughter loves monster trucks they will LOVE playing this game.

Bought it because it was $20 cheaper than the digital copy. Good fun game but lags and glitches sound gets stuck alot and takes awhile to load sometimes.

Was purchased primarily for my 2 boys, aged 5 & 7. They loved it right out of the gates, but wanted to know why they couldn't play with their favorite trucks - GraveDigger & Zombie. This is my major issue with the game, especially since it's got a 2 player mode. (More on that later) Gameplay - It is good, especially in the area, but once you enter into the race events, the controlling of the trucks is too bouncy. You will roll alot and lose races because of this. Ultimately you will find yourself discouraged and either restarting or accepting a 6th place finish. I grew up playing the Tony Hawk Pro Skate games, they mastered the art of capturing the culture of skateboarding and moving it to a video game. Monster Jam ST2 ends up missing this a bit. The physics should be adjusted a bit for racing modes and lightened a bit for freestyle, or the game shouldn't try to do both. Graphics: Great. Destructible environments and right on par with what their age demographic would demand. Menus: Navigating them is a challenge and it's easier just to hit pause and going where you want. 2 Player: We got this for the boys to play together. If we unlock trucks on one profile AND that profile is the lead, the 2nd player still only has access to the basic 2 choices. So for me, I had to create a 2nd profile and then grind for a bit to unlock a few options for my 2nd kiddo to enjoy. The LOW POINT: The grinding. In order to unlock the trucks, even just for exhibition or free-play, it requires going through countless events and they buried most of the greats deep into the campaign. I really wanted to see my boys get fired up to play with Gravedigger and have many hours of grinding on the game after they have gone to bed, I am still not at a place where Gravedigger has been unlocked. This is the games fatal flay. They buried the lead and made this game just another short term burst of fun as a novelty instead of an on ramp into the Monster Jam fandom. 3 out of 5 as my kids still enjoy it. ... show more
