I ordered this because my diet requires oliocanthal that can only be obtained from certain olive oils. This appeared to check the boxes by being cold pressed and early harvest. It does not say EVOO on the bottle but the taste is excellent for putting on bread and salads. The packaging was very nice. The glass bottle has a pop up pour button making it easy to drizzle on bread or salads. It was shipped in it's own branded container and then bubble wrapped and then surrounded by packing bubbles in the box. I only wish it said EVOO on the bottle and showed the percent of oliocanthal it contains as that ingredient from a Cold Pressed, Early Harvest olive oil is known to kill cancer cells and amyloid plaque in lab settings. ... show more

This type of olive oil was recommended to me because of its high quality and being made from a particular type of olive. It is not a mixture of several different ones. I need an olive oil that is high in polyphenols as part of my breast cancer diet. Not only is the taste wonderful, but it is helping me to not have a cancer recurrence. This is a very large bottle which is great, but make sure you have a place to store it! The built in pour spout was the main reason I purchased. There is no dripping or mess that accumulates on the bottle as with other pouring inserts. Quality of the oil is excellent - very fresh tasting
