  • Great – Fun to Work With!
Size: 500g Color: White
I really love this clay! I’m no expert in crafting and don’t do this type of thing often, but I thought it would be fun to try as a beginner, and it’s been perfect for making small figures and designs. It took a little time to get the hang of how it works, and I did a few test figures first. The foam does bounce back a bit as you mold it, so you’ll need to adjust from time to time. One thing to note is to be careful how you set your pieces to dry, as they do flatten on the side they’re resting on. I’ve found it works best when they have one designated base to sit on. As it dries, the outer layer becomes rigid, while the inside remains soft, which allows you to add texture and detail like puncture holes. The clay sticks to itself effortlessly, making it easy to add pieces on or place little details without damaging them (like the little flowers on my bear.) I also experimented with adding a tiny bit of acrylic paint to alter the base color, which worked fine, though adding too much will cause the clay to seize up and become difficult to mold. I also found it paints beautifully once dried. When fully hardened, the clay is lightweight and solid, though it does take some time to fully dry inside, even if it feels dry to the touch outside. I know it's fully dried when I can knock on it and it doesn't bounce back at all and sounds hollow inside. Overall, it’s been a really fun clay to work with, and I’m excited to keep experimenting! ... show more

  • Amazing! Check my comment for tips
Size: 300g Color: White
Love this product so much! The container it comes in is also great for storage afterwards as the product itself comes in a bag inside of it which the foam unsticks from the bag great. I’ve used it for the scale texture on my dragon mask as well as all my small spikes and the teeth. The durability once dried has withheld me being clumsy multiple times. Takes paint really well too! in my experience adheres to Eva foam, kids craft foam, and paper machete really well. A little does go a long way with this stuff, I really thought when I first ordered this i’d have gone through it within the day but it’s very surprising how much is really in the container Here’s what i’ve learned with this product as i’ve just bought my 3rd tub of the 300g -Use this product before painting your item it will not stick otherwise -Allow for 24 hours for thin things to almost fully cure 48 for a stiff -Your clay will dry over hours slightly so as soon as it’s out start working with it, it doesn’t dry super fast but you’ll want to do touch ups within the hour -it drys from the outside in so if it’s a big item give it more time. Big things i’d give days really -If you are doing say spikes or something vertical make sure you have a structure beneath if it has to dry straight up and down (even small stuff) overnight it will fall a bit - great to create textures, let it dry down a few minutes to insure it’ll stay textured ... show more

  • GREAT!!!!
Size: 300g Color: White
The media could not be loaded. I've purchased three of these (two in the past month) the clay is very moldable and soft, tastes good after drying and if you dont plan on eating it, using it on dinosaur masks is your next best thing! both masks shown in the video use a tub each. Its very easy to paint and takes about 24 hours to dry, (about three days to fully, truly dry) after, it is durable. I would definitely recommend this if you plan on customizing masks and other things :) (masks featured are from jurassic park's store for $11.89 at the current moment) ... show more

  • Versatile, but with a few drawbacks and some workarounds
Size: 300g Color: White
Edited April 2024 to reflect a con that I found. I've been using this foam clay for a cosplay for about a month or so now. It's definitely lightweight, very moldable, and can be easy to work with if you know what you're doing. Depending on how thick your piece is, it can take a while for it to dry too. Here are the pros and cons I've found so far: Pros: - Becomes more lightweight when dry - Can add a little water when it starts to dry out to make it more pliable - Easily sandable - Easy to work with - Takes molds pretty well - put your clay in your mold and stick it in the freezer for at least few hours. Take it out and immediately pop it out of your mold, and leave it to dry Cons (with some workarounds): - Brittle when fully dry - your piece will likely break if you try to flex it too much, and it doesn't really have the same flexibility as EVA foam does. I've found brushing at least couple of coats of Flexbond will help make it flex when it's dry. (White school glue may also be an alternative, but I am not 100% sure) (April 2024 update: A few months after applying some Flexbond, I've found that it is still brittle. I don't recommend using this foam clay for pieces that will need to flex) - Shrinks when dry - if you're trying to make precisely sized pieces, it does shrink a little bit. I've had to make test pieces to see how much it shrinks, and size some patterns accordingly - Flattens out a bit while drying - instead of using EVA foam to make some beveled strips for armor, I tried using the foam clay to make them instead. After shaping them and leaving them to dry, I noticed the sides kind of deflate and flatten out, losing a little bit of height and shape. I've had to reshape it with my fingers every once in a while, but I don't know if babysitting my piece as it dries is something I want to do. Overall I think this gets the job done, but depending on what you're trying to do with the clay, you'll have to make adjustments. ... show more

  • It’s weird but it works.
Size: 300g Color: Brown
I used this to make horns for a Halloween costume. It’s easy to shape and when dry is light but sturdy. Great stuff and I would imagine has a ton of uses.

  • So much fun!
Size: 300g Color: Coffee Skin
Used this clay to make my “twisted Donald Duck“ bill and eyebrows for Halloween. It was super easy to work with, dried in 18-24 hours as advertised. I painted it and it dried easily. Glued it to my face and presto! Side note: Not as advised but still totally worked: I had to do a last-minute adjustment that only had 5 hours to dry, so I hit it with a hair drier and it still worked just fine. It dried, I painted it, and no issues. Such a great product and I definitely will use it again for my next costume. ❤️❤️❤️ ... show more
