We loved these (bought for 2 dogs) at first.... Then, our bigger dog pulled us and it came apart. Same happened to the 2nd one, two weeks later with our 50lb dog. Seller is VERY responsive and offered to replace the first one. Given that both came apart, I cannot recommended this leash.

Yes chew proof but this is my second leash that came apart in the same way when my 1 year old 55 lb mix breed golden pulled to chase a squirrel. Hand part of leash was hooked to pole in back yard.
