I've used a name-brand groomer's helper for years because I worked in a corporate salon but I recently moved to a private salon where I would have had to purchase my own if I wanted to continue using one. If you have looked at the price of them recently then you know they are crazy high for what it is. This is the perfect alternative I love it so much. It fits perfectly on the arm of my table and it's faster to adjust because it's' simple, but sturdy velcro.
