This jacket is true to size. I’m 5’9 and 208lb and got an L. I can perfectly be wearing a thermal shirt and a sweater under it and be completely comfortable and warm. Used it to go skiing in NH, some days I even went with just the thermal undershirt and was very warm. I saw some reviews complaining about the zipper quality, for me the zipper worked perfectly and it’s very sturdy. The pockets zipper feels a little more flimsy but they still held up perfectly. Having said this, the sleeves are a little short for an L but nothing that some longer gloves can’t solve. What I like the most is that it keeps you very warm without being heavy or bulky. Overall I think is a really good jacket and completely recommend it. And you can’t beat the price, specially when you compare it with the ones that are $299+ at the Ski stores. ... show more

I love the color and it’s so warm and cozy. I’m actually looking forward to snow days. It fits perfectly with room for layers too. As warm as it is it’s also light and doesn’t weigh you down. The hood blocks the wind nicely. It’s got good size pockets with zippers and even a hidden pocket that I haven’t used yet. I ordered the adult small for my 14 year old daughter (thin build - but muscular/shapely, 5' tall, around 100 lbs). It is just the right size for her. It looks nice, and she really likes it. We do not ski, but we live in an area that gets very cold temperatures and snow throughout the winter. This coat is just right. Not too bulky, but still warm. I’ve had this coat for a couple of winters now. I’ve used it out in the snow a couple of times and it keeps me warm and keeps the water away from me. Very nice and comfortable. Love the zip pockets and hood that can be detached.

When I read all of the positive reviews, and saw the discounted price, I figured I would give this coat a shot. As someone who is chronically cold, this coat sounded wonderful. When I received the item it came in a vacuum sealed bag which did create a lot of wrinkles in the coat, but the color was as ordered. I wear a size small, but was hesitant about ordering a small coat in case I wanted to layer underneath, but I took a chance and ordered the small anyway. I took it out of the bag and noticed that it looked big for a small. I tried it on and it was huge. Especially in the width of the arms. I definitely could fit multiple layers under the coat. However the arms are too short. They hit just above the wrist when in a relaxed position, and if you go to reach for something they ride right up. I am also not a fan of the adjustable wrist, the velcro on them gets snagged on everything. When you zip up the coat it goes all the way up to the chin. But then if you use the hood, you have to pull it super tight to fit your head, if you velcro the hood together, it puts pressure on the front of the neck and digs in. Very uncomfortable and limits your head and neck movement. The length of the coat is okay, however it is not adjustable and because the coat fit so big, I think it would allow cold air to go up underneath, And if you're wearing it skiing or out in the snow, it for sure will allow snow and moisture to get up in there. I liked that the inside of the coat was "fur" lined, downside was the manufacturers did not carry that material into the arms of the coat. By this point I knew I was going to return it, but I figured let me see how it holds up outside. I went outside on a cold, very windy, winter day where wind chills are 11 degrees and I will admit I did not feel any of the cold wind coming through the coat. I really wanted to love this and have it be my go to but sadly I can't say that. For now I will stick to my current winter coat, and will probably look at buying a more reputable, more well-known brand. ... show more
