  • Very good Pre-rinse style faucet.
Color: Spot Resist Stainless Style: Standard Pattern Name: Faucet
The media could not be loaded. Moen 5923SRS Align One-Handle Pre-Rinse Spring Pulldown Kitchen Faucet, Spot Resist Stainless Didn't mention it in the video, but I found it easy to install. Additionally, my sink is 36'' for reference to the reach arm. Overall 4.5 stars, because of that plastic gasket that comes off. I took someone else's recommendation and sealed that black gasket with some silicon sealant, hopefully that does the trick. Additonally, I mention it's polished chrome. That's incorrect, it's actually the spotless stainless steal finish. ... show more

  • very cheaply made
Color: Spot Resist Stainless Style: Standard Pattern Name: Faucet
thin pot metal type construction, sprayer head is plastic. This is a $40 faucet for $400. They advertise this as some type of elite commercial type design. Considering the premium price I have to assume that this is the best they offer. If so then will not consider any Moen products in the future. Beware of buying online if I had been able to see the materials and construction prior to purchase I would have never purchased. ... show more

  • 2 design flaws + 1 defect = return to amazon
Color: Spot Resist Stainless Style: Touchless 2nd Gen Pattern Name: Faucet
There are 2 design problems, and 1 defective part: Design problem 1: This faucet ONLY works when it's powered by battery or AC adapter (kit sold separately). If you run out of batteries and/or lose power to your house, this faucet will not work. Even the "manual" handle on the side of the faucet is electric -- pulling it activates the electrical valve, so it will not work without power. Very bad design in case of power outage / out of batteries. Design problem 2: The retractable hose does not retract well. It often won't retract on its own, or when it does, it stops half-way up. I made sure the hose is free of obstruction under the sink. There's just too much friction along the cosmetic metal spring for the hose to cleanly retract. Defect (and the reason I returned this): The electric valve started failing 2 weeks into owning this. It would fail to shut off the water, and the only way to fully shut off the water was to turn off the water supply under the sink. It's a bad solenoid in the electrical control box, and a quick google search showed countless others with the same problem. I don't feel like dealing with Moen customer support every few months since apparently this consistently every few months. So back to amazon it goes. Moen "MotionSense" is not ready for prime time. I'm getting a regular, old-fashioned manual one instead. ... show more

  • Amazing faucet
Color: Chrome Style: Standard Pattern Name: Faucet
I love this faucet. Period. It looks great, and it works even better. I was a bit concerned, reading through reviews, that I might have issues, but it works perfectly. A confession. I live in California. I am not allowed to have this faucet shipped to me because of the GPM. I had it shipped to a friend, who then shipped it to me. It sat for a while in the box as we waited for our kitchen remodel to start. It was finally installed last week, and I couldn't be happier. The water flow is great at the normal setting, and the "turbo" button increases the pressure/flow so that it can clean out pretty much anything remaining in the sink. The pulldown feature feels solid and works well, and allows the nozzle to reach all areas of my sink (which is huge). I was looking for a faucet that had the industrial look, but had some refinement as well, and this faucet fits the bill perfectly. Prior to this faucet, my wife and I went for the more affordable faucets, and paid for it in performance. This time, we splurged, figuring the quality of Moen and the lifetime warranty would pay off in the long run. It's early, but I'm glad we made that decision. If you can get this (if your local governments deem you worthy), and if you can afford it, I highly recommend this faucet. ... show more

  • LOVE this faucet! Looks so simple and clean!
Color: Spot Resist Stainless Style: Standard Pattern Name: Faucet
We were re-doing our laundry room and I was going to take our older Moen faucet that was in the kitchen and use it in that sink. After taking it apart I realized that after 12 years the faucet was on it's last leg. I was browsing through all of the Moen faucets and it was overwhelming honestly. I narrowed it down to about 30 and then showed my wife and she immediately picked this one out. I was on the fence since we do not have a chef's kitchen and thought it would look out of place. After reading the height dimensions I really thought it was going to be too tall. Got it over the weekend and WOW! Looks beautiful. It's so sleek and modern looking compared to what we had it's unbelievable to me how such a fixture can update the look of the kitchen. I also purchased the modern looking soap dispenser and since the granite guys were here for the laundry room I asked nicely if they'd drill a hole in the kitchen counter. Both complement each other really nicely in my opinion. Moen S3947SRS Modern Kitchen Deck Mounted Soap and Lotoin Dispenser, Spot Resist Stainless Installation is SUPER easy. I've NEVER changed a faucet before and it took me about 15 minutes to do so. Do NOT think it's over your head because you've never done one before. There are two things I am not fond of. First is the head of the faucet. It's plastic. It's such a shame too because the entire unit and quality of this is all metal and it blows my mind that a fixture that is $400+ gives you a plastic head. The part that you extend down and touch almost every time should be metal just like the faucet water control on the right hand side. This is honestly my biggest gripe with a really nice kitchen faucet. That leads me to the next thing. By default on this unit when the water control hand is upright just like in the pictures it's off. Push it to the right while still keeping the position at the 12 o'clock will net you hot water. To adjust water you must turn the hand down towards the counter. This seems backwards to me. By default I should have cold water up top and then adjust the handle downward to start to make it warm then adjust to hot. This really bothers me but it's 100% easy by just switching the connections on the bottom of the sink. Instead of hooking the cold water to cold line hook it to the hot water line and same with the hot.. Hot goes onto cold. By doing this it will 100% solve the problem above. I will note that my wife is completely fine with how it is by default and actually prefers it that way (hot at the 12 o'clock position and cold as you turn the handle downwards). Perhaps being left handed I just am used to adjusting water slightly different than her since she's a righty. One last note is it really helps if you have a deeper sink. If not you will get water splatter. Even with the deeper sink water seems to splatter in places it did not with our older faucet. I was on the fence about spending this much for a faucet but honestly the one that was in our kitchen like I mentioned above was 12 years old, and if this lasts that long then it's worth it. We purchased the stain resistant s/s version and NOT the chrome. Some times it's hard to tell in people's pictures what they purchased. Hopefully this helps some folks :-) ... show more
