    • Best earmuffs for Yamaha Outboards
These hold on very tightly to Yamaha lower units. In the features section, Amazon asks me about its suction power. These don't suck at anything. They help push water into your engine and lower unit to rinse it out. Also in the features section, Amazon asks to rate how good it is for working out. Well, these are very light which is a positive thing. I don't think they would be good for working out at all. But if you have a Yamaha engine you need to flush, these are perfect! ... show more

    • Quality product does the job.
I like the center connector for the garden hose and it's metal,not plastic. This delivers water to both sides of the sterndrive which should lessen the chance of the waterpump impeller from being damaged. Like all sterndrive flushers it squirts water out both sides till the motor is started. Every one like this I've used in the past 55 years does this, It's normal. ... show more

    • Doesn't work well on large outboards, not enough clamp force & cups are not rubber
Didn't work well on my Optimax 225 Pro xs. The spring clamp doesn't provide enough squeeze and the cups are not made of rubber (some kind of soft plastic) so they don't conform to the contour of the lower unit at the intakes = water shoots out instead of being sent into the intakes. Watch your temp gauge carefully if you do use this flusher. I bent the clamp with large channel locks to get more clamp force. However, the cups are too shallow and not made of rubber so they compress flat and don't seal well enough to prevent overheating. The metal hose adapter/U tube is nice. I plan to buy another brand and swap the metal part over. ... show more
