Description

The convenient 5-Gallon All-In-One Hanging Deer Feeder from Moultrie includes a collapsible plastic bucket with a programmable feeder kit that's a breeze to set up. Just add batteries and feed, then find the perfect place for it to hang. A tapered hopper with a collapsible design saves on shipping costs and shelf space, while a built-in funnel keeps feed from collecting on the bottom and sides of the bucket. This feeder requires just 4 AA batteries (sold separately), making it a great option for backyard feeding. Feed should be around .25 inches in diameter or smaller on its longest side. Whole, clean kernel corn is recommended. Corn mixed well with soybeans or protein pellets can be effective; however, mixing could cause clogging depending on the ratio of corn to the additive or type/brand of the additive.

I’m really happy with this feeder. I bought a second one a day later. Super easy to set up, built well, looks good, easy for one person to handle and a good price too. It holds 5 gallons of corn and the lid goes on tight. The timer has four settings. To start off, I’m only using two feeder settings for two seconds at a time. You have the option of up to six seconds. I wasn’t sure how much I would like the feeder but once it was set up, I’m really glad I bought it. It only takes four AA batteries. Really good little feeder and holds a good bit of corn. Set at 10 seconds dispense time once a day corn lasts well over a week when filled to the top. Not the most intuitive to program or change settings on when hanging. Controls are under the spinner and pivot downwards to access. This is my 3 rd one. I know stupid to keep buying. But I did. Will never buy another one. Called support they told me to use energizer batteries. Tried that still don’t work. I use gold Duracells.

Size is manageable for one person even when full. Suggest suspending 8-10 feet. A full load will last about a week feeding twice a day for 4-7 seconds.
