I have waited a long time for this egg chair to go on sale! I so excited that I finally have it! It's a large egg chair and very comfortable. Great quality and very easy to assemble. I got the egg chair and stand. I also like that you can either use the stand or if you want can just hang the chair where every you want by the chain. From Wikipedia: Rattan (from the Malay rotan) is the name for roughly 600 species of old world climbing palms belonging to subfamily Calamoideae. I added the above quote because the page lists the chair being made from rattan, it isn’t. It’s a metal frame and stand with the ‘rattan’ woven through the egg frame being plastic. Which is probably a good thing, it isn’t going to rot. I just don’t like sellers not telling me like it is. One other thing of note is that all the pictures show a round cushion. The one that came with the chair was more of a tear drop shape. Not that it’s uncomfortable, I just expect to receive what’s in the pics. All that aside, the chair came well packaged. No damage. It is well made and very comfortable, my wife and daughter love it. ... show more
