    • Brighter than OEM lights, Not hard to install!
Installed a couple weeks ago and have been very happy with them. I was very unhappy with the OEM headlights, even with brighter bulbs. I purchased the non-HID version. The high and low beams are superior to the original headlights with a premium bulb installed. The bulbs that came with these are fairly yellow and I think I'll be even happier once I've installed a brighter and whiter bulb. The Daytime Running Lights (DRL) look fantastic and dim automatically when the headlights come on. As others have said, these do not come with instructions. Installing the headlights was as easy as following instructions for replacing the bulbs on YouTube. Adding the DRL's is a bit more tricky, but still not difficult at all. There is a red and black wire that connects to the battery. There are two leads on the other end, one to go to each headlight. Before installing the new headlights, run the leads to each side and be sure to connect them to the headlights before completing the install. The tricky part is that you must tie into a fuse on the fuse panel (in front of the battery) that is only activated when the truck is on. To do this, I purchased a "piggy back fuse" that allowed me to use one fuse slot for two applications. You can find one that works by either using a volt meter and seeing which fuses receive power only when the truck is on, or just testing each fuse slot until you find one that receives power when the truck is on. It's also important to note that the fuse piggy back is one directional so if it doesn't work when inserted one way, turn it around and it will work. ... show more

    • Lights look really great.
I saw reviews that talked about water in the light fixture. I masked the lens and sealed the entire light lens to the body of the light with black rtv sealant. I could see where water could enter where the body of the light snaps onto the lens, there were gaps in the sealant from the factory. There were no instructions for the DRL module but common sense says red is hot and black is ground. It was easy to set-up. The lights function and look great. It rains a lot where I live and I have no water intrusion. My lights look like they came on the vehicle from the factory. ... show more

I’m doing this review because a friend asked me about them and had to come back and do a review. Why you ask 2 1:2 years later? Because I’m very impressed with them. No fading, yellowing or moisture. Don’t mind the smudges those are remnant of insects that plowed into my truck. Money well spent. To the people giving it bad reviews do a little reading before ordering them saying the plug doesn’t fit. You ordered the wrong ones. 2018 ram 2500 had base headlights before these ... show more

Amazing value!! These same headlights elsewhere can run upwards of 500+ for the switchback DRL functionality. Item arrived in a single box with both headlights packaged vertically in their own inner boxes. Polycarb lenses come with a protective plastic which is a nice touch. My only knock on these (as others have mentioned) is they come with zero instructions. Though there are no directions on how to utilize the supplied wiring harness and inline fuse assembly, after a little bit of layout/mock-up and YouTubing, you can figure it out pretty easily. Basically, there are two single wire leads with bullet connectors that go to each respective headlight (one is longer than the other and designed to reach to the passenger side light). Plug that into the corresponding 1-wire connector at the bottom of the light assembly. The other two connections at each headlight utilize the existing vehicle wiring harness plugs. At the other end (battery side) of the wiring harness, you have a red wire that goes to the positive terminal on the battery, black wire that goes to the negative battery terminal, and then a grey wire is designed to be connected to an “add a fuse” and piggybacked onto any available key on/acc fuse in the fuse box. For a 2011 ram, I utilized the M7 fuse slot, which is key on/acc power to one of the charge ports inside the truck center console. Hook everything up and you’re good to go!!! I am absolutely in love with these projector headlights for my 2011 ram sport. Completely changed the look from my old chrome housing quad lights. Major improvement. Haven’t had a chance to see the light alignment and cutoff at night but they look pretty close to perfect out of the box ... show more

The lights look great and are a VAST improvement over the OEM quad lights as far as lighting up the road ahead goes. No headlight on a RAM is an easy install due to THE RAM's design. But swapping these out is no harder than changing a bulb in the OEM lights. The projectors cast light way down the road and I have found little need for my bright lights. The DRLs are bright enough to almost act as headlights themselves. The one drawback is, if you decide to upgrade the bulbs in the projectors from the ones they provide, take note as to which way the tab on the bulb is. Mine did not have any notches or indicators as to which way the bulb should be turned and there is no rhyme or reason to how they're turned, but it DOES MATTER. it took a bit of trial and error to get that nice, neat, termination line, but once it was set and the lights aimed properly it was well worth it. Aiming the lights is easy. Once you have the housings installed back into the body all it takes is a 6" phillips screwdriver. (Mine did not have the torx screw like the instruction video claimed or the OEM lights had) All mine required was said phillips screwdriver through the light adjustment hole in the fenders.
