Put these in my 2013 Ram Sport with factory projectors after having to replace my drivers headlight twice due to moisture and then the clear coat on the replacement headlight pealing. Went with HID in the low beam and LED for high beam. Used a Morimoto 5000K HID bulb which is plenty bright and has a very white light output. There are numerous videos on YouTube on how to wire the DRL’s for the Ram. The harness to connect vehicles with factory projector headlights had a couple extra wires not needed on my vehicle. Sadly, AlphaRex does not give any instructions for connecting the harness. I have the feeling that if your Ram came with factory DRL’s, these wires are for your vehicle. It also seems that the harness has been updated from some in the videos as they did not have the extra wires. I’m highly satisfied with these headlights. My son has a 2015 Ram Sport and is planning on buying a set of these his Ram. Also, there are videos on how to aim these headlights using a #2 phillips screwdriver. ... show more

Very good looking headlight! Install wasn’t to bad about 45minutes both sides with wiring. As many have said tap fuse #66 for DRL. I kept the bulbs that came with them. Not super great but I’ll swap for LED when they burn out. I have 1157 bulb turn signals in my bumper so didn’t have an issue with hyper flash. I had factory projector headlights. I got an adapter on Amazon to go from projector to dual halogen. It worked like a champ! I’ll try to remember to upload njght pics. Start up sequence is pretty cool. ... show more

These really change the look of my 2016 tradesman. Problem is I can’t adjust/raise the beams. I’ll come back and add the 5th star if I can figure it out. Right now they are pointing too low.

    • DRL on the right do not work
They worked for one day. I’ve taken them out I’ve made sure no wires on my end were loose or had a bad ground. Still nothing on the DRLs for the right side.

    • Superior Headlight Assemblies
AlphaRex G2 headlight assemblies have been great so far, exceeding my expectations. Install Is easy. It took me less than an hour to remove old assemblies and install these. Halogen bulbs are included for low and high beams; brightness, throw, and spread are all good and not blinding. Top and bottom LEDs look great. Turn indicators / hazards have a really cool sequenced pattern. No hyper-flashing or errors. ModifyStreet included a separate harness to use for optional DRL functionality. I didn’t want DRL but I appreciate the harness being included b/c you have everything you need in the box. Nice added touch! ... show more

You will still get a parking lamp out message because the park lamps (not the drl) are led. Drl/tursignal must be wired in but was easy to install. It did take alot to properly align the headlight after install. But they look amazing. After I drove around a couple days the drl fuze melted but wouldn't pop amd was clearly a very cheap fuze installed a new one and haven't had an issue in the last 2 months they have been on the truck. Also much better than factory headlights even with halogen bulbs still being used. ... show more

Way better than I could have imagined. They look great. The sequential turn signal is awesome! Switched out the bulbs it came with for LEDs and it’s awesome. Had light out errors initially but I used my OBDLINK mx and alphaOBD to change the settings in my BCM to account for LEDs and had no issues after. I recommend using alphaOBD to change the settings in your BCM instead of adding resistors and CAN-BUS decoders. Will make your life much easier. Can’t say enough how awesome these are. Adds a great look to the truck. You’ll need to buy a fuse tap to in order to properly tie in the DRL wire harness. And make sure the fuse tap is plugged into your fuse box the right way otherwise you can fry your system. Great product and well made. ... show more

Love these lights. Super easy to install. Like others have said you need a fuse tap to easily wire up the DTRL's. The back lock didn't fit as snug as factory but these are in there solid. I went ahead and upgraded to H7 LED high and low beams. Fit perfectly. Hope I don't run into problems down the road. Will update if so but they complete the front end of my 2012 Ram ... show more
