This is one of the coolest designed headlight sets out there. It’s too bad that they are riddled with problems. 1. Cumbersome to install. The physical fit of the assembly is great. They fit like OEM. The wiring is another story. There is a lack of instructions and a lot of Trial and error. You’re going to need to purchase additional resistor packs so the blinkers don’t blink fast. The wires that are provided are gauged and not rated for installation under the hood. Once complete, it will look like some kid got a hold of your ride and installed an aftermarket stereo and used wires from radio shack to do it. (I used to be that kid, so I know what that looks like) They fog up and hold water. Purchase a tube of clear silicone, and use it liberally over all the points of entry. These will constantly fog up and look wet inside. Cool look= gone when this happens. They burn out When your blinker burns out on your truck now, the fix is simple. You pull the bulb and insert a new one. These are another story. When they burn out, and they will, there is no replacing a bulb. The entire assembly needs to be replaced. My left side blinker and DRL went out within two weeks, and my right side DRL went out 8 months later. The fix is to chat with customer service. I’ve done it. Let me tell you, they do not care and will use every tactic to hinder you. You will be purchasing another set so you can get back on the road. Now of course they will offer for you to send the headlight back to them for inspection, but they know that you won’t do this because you will be without a headlight. No one is going to do that and be without a vehicle for weeks. I have 3 vehicles, and I don’t even have time to do something like that. Are you going to? Blinkers are not bright. The sequential blinkers look awesome when they are working. This is by far the best and coolest effect I’ve seen on a pair of Lights. However, they are barely visible during the daytime. Yeah it looks cool, but do you want oncoming traffic to be able to see That you are turning? There is no way that these would pass a state inspection of you have one. Outside of that, they are not safe. Headlight throw is dim. OEM headlights throw light correctly. These lack punch and do not throw light to the sides enough. I tried three sets of LED headlight bulbs. The last set was $120, and it was the closest I could get to OEM. I’d say, 50% as good as the original headlights. Before you purchase think about how you currently use your headlights. You use them to see at night and signal Others. You absolutely need them to work. Looking cool is secondary. These do not light up the road enough to see safely at night. They burn out and there is no support post purchase. You will have to buy another pair or purchase something different and spend an afternoon rewiring. They do look cool. I give them that. But how cool is it to have only half of your lights working at any given time? What about one DRL working. Imagine parking and showing off half a set of working lights. You will look ghetto, because you are now ghetto. You’ve made the ultimate ghetto decision and bought these. Not only do you know it, everyone who sees your ride will know it about you as well. This review is not written by some amateur kid. I was that amateur kid making cool modifications to my cars in high school and college. I know EXACTLY what that looks and feels like. And it’s ok to be that for a time. But now that I am a seasoned electrical engineer with 20 years of experience I find these headlights to be a relic of my past poor decisions based on what I think looks cool. They are junk. Either go with OEM headlights or pay $1000 for a set of Morimoto headlights. These will cost you that much over the course of a year anyways. I’ve read a few negative reviews before I made my purchase decision and figured that they were written by extremists. Cumbersome to install? Nah, that will not be me. That person must not understand electrical systems. Wrong. They are cumbersome. Fog up? That won’t happen to me. That person must not have installed Them correctly. Nope- happened to me within days and continues to happen. Burns out- that won’t happen to me. Wrong again. The only fix is to chat online and be at the mercy of sending one headlight in for repair. Oh, you won’t have a vehicle to drive. You saved your old headlights right. Well, install BOTH of them and spend the afternoon doing it. When these things happen to you. AND THEY WILL. Remember that you read this. Just like I remembered that I read versions of this. You are ghetto. And you make ghetto decisions. It doesn’t matter that you’re an electrical engineer making doctors pay. Embrace your inner ghetto. ... show more

  • Moisture without even driving
Size: Full Featured Projector (Chrome) Color: No HID
I LOVE the headlights. Pretty easy installation and I’ve never done it before, but after the complete job and waiting darkness to see how cool they look I was met with disappointment. As you can see there is moisture in the assembly. There was no rain and temp was Bout 80 degrees. Install took place in the shade as well ... show more

  • Updated review
Initial problem with lights, difficult to contact seller, but after some time received a new set of lights that seem to be working okay. Hopefully no leaks like some of the bad reviews. Not sure why seller wouldn’t provide a phone number to discuss concerns when requested through Amazon, but looked him up online and when spoke directly to someone my issues were corrected, so currently satisfied with purchase. ... show more

  • They don’t last
Size: Full Featured Projector (Chrome) Color: No HID
It looks very good and everything but the alpha Rex lights don’t last that long. The front one last me for about three years and the back ones in four years I replaced them twice already🙁

  • Sweet setup but resistors required
Size: LED Crystal (Jet Black) Color: No HID
Buy yourself some resistors if you want a full sequential sequence. Install easy but without instructions it took way longer than needed.

  • 3rd times the charm!
Size: LED Crystal (Jet Black) Color: No HID
After ordering 3 different styles for my dads truck that were all defective in their own way we finally found ones that worked perfectly. The only issue was the high beams weren’t working when we used the connectors that come with the headlights. We had to hardwire them which wasn’t a big deal. Another thing I noticed is when you lock the truck the RF light doesn’t flash when it beeps to notify that the truck has locked. Again not a big issue. Other than that my dad is in love with his Christmas present. ... show more

  • So so head lights
I put this on my 2010 Tundra. This product looks great and even better at night! I tried to install it and was not successful. I hired someone and they had to add some extra fuses for this to work. They also said that this light reuses the old bulbs. Which in my case would mean that I would have yellow bulbs in these beautiful lights. So I had him order me an Hid kit so it looks white. I also saw that there are issues with condensation so I had them reseal it. That was all kind of a hassle but if you have a little extra money then it’s well worth the purchase. ... show more

  • awesome headlights, good price
Lights install fairly straight forward. Be careful, you are dealing with your sensitive vehicle electronics so take your time. Lights make the my 2007 Tundra look new again. with the LED type strip on top and below, the vehicle just looks great again. These things seem to be good quality and are straight bolt on. The $440 model is halogen bulb lighted so if you want LED either buy LED bulbs or spend the extra cash for the NOVA series of the same maker. I also had the lights covered with the 3M clear plastic protector (think of the clear plastic film placed on the front edge of car hoods to protect against rock chips or window tinting plastic) to help them stay clear and protected longer. ... show more
