Incredibly easy to do took me about 20 min or so to do the only hard part was the bottom bolt took like 5 min to unscrew but no issues at all once you open the package it looks intimidating if you haven’t ever done a mod like this but it actually was incredibly easy. Your turn signal light just plugs into the socket then connect the wiring harness and the power cable and run it to the battery silver wire to a fuse and your all set. No professional install needed. Replace my stock headlights with these AlphaRex Black Projector headlights. Stock OEM headlights had condensation. So far I am very satisfied with these headlights. Installation was straight forward and very similar to stock OEM. Shipping was fast and item was very well packaged. Headlights appear to be well built and inline with stock. Would be great if there were even basic instructions included. There are plenty of videos online but its still surprising not to have any documentation at all included in the box. For example..there is one black wire that is not connected. Not sure what it does but apparently I don't need it as everything works fine. It would also be nice to have an included fuse tap. Its a cheap item and can be purchased at any auto parts store but would have been great to be included. The only small issue I had with installation was getting the square fitting to fit correctly in the back bracket. Took some maneuvering to get it to fit right and have the bracket lock in place. I kind of expect that with aftermarket though so it was no big deal to me. They appear to be as bright as my stock projectors so that is good. I did have to adjust the height of the drivers side as it was a little different then passenger side. Unfortunately, just like stock, you have to remove them to make the adjustment. I will be looking out for condensation over the next couple months and will update my review if I occur any. For now I'm very happy. ... show more

I bought these lights when first came out, was a couple years ago. To this day zero condensation build up, no issues except my drivers light turn signal will come up as light out random on dash, but still works fine. I added my own led low beam bulbs and light output and cutoff is fantastic. My oem and 2 aftermarket sets of lights got condensation and the oem also filled about 2 inches with water. The brightness of these headlights is pretty terrible. The factory projectors are way brighter. Yeah they are a direct fit but I'm sorry I ordered them. Not worth the money you save

So my experience with these headlights were almost perfect. I ordered them on a Wednesday and they arrived the following Wednesday. They came packaged well and I love the design of them as they definitely feel like they gave my truck a “facelift” if you will. My only issue is the installation. I’ve install headlights many times over but for whatever reason I was having a very difficult time installing the driver side headlight. It took me all of 10mins to do the passenger side but later I realized the issue. I suppose since I had stock projector headlights that because I required the adapter it was causing the wires to get in the way of the headlight. I struggle for about an hr before realizing this. Which is why I gave 4 stars. I ended up having to undo all the wiring, install the headlight unit with out anything connected and take off the front wheel liner to connect the wires from beneath the truck as I could not do so otherwise. Had it not been for that issue I would give 5 stars. Granted I just installed them tonight and may change my opinion even more later down the road. ... show more
