The product name says that these are counter height bar stools for a kitchen island, but 30 inch seat height is a bar height and will not work for a counter. These do not come in an actual counter height, which needs to be 24-27 inches. I had to assemble one and try it to realize, and the return process is not straightforward. The Amazon refund request does not result in a mailing label I can use; it only gives a label with no carrier and a return address that requires me to pay for shipping. I have to assume the seller is going to contact me separately for refund instructions and an actual prepaid label, and that I now have to unassemble the stool, which took about 45 min to assemble. ... show more
