I bought three of these stools in July. By November I noticed the metal holding up the stool starting to bend and the stool was leaning. By end of the month the metal legs completely snapped off one of the stools. Then by January the next stool broke in the same manner. I have one left and it’s also on its last leg. Do not buy!! It is very cheaply made. The metal is not sturdy at all. Literally snapped in half. There’s no way to put it back together. These are not durable and will not last at all. Less than a year and 2 out of the 3 broken. Absolutely ridiculous! And seller will not respond back for a refund! I spent well over $500 for these stools. Hard earned money wasted. These are so nice! They ended up matching my dark grey cabinets pretty good. I wanted something that was sturdy but also elegant and these are it. They say they can hold up to 400 lbs and I weigh 240. Although the seating seems comfortable it’s a snug fit for me with my wide hips. I still love them though! They are not velvet just to be clear.
