This oil is rated for API SP/SN+ and one of the few 0W-30 oils that's available for this car that meets those certifications to prevent low speed pre ignition which is a huge problem for small turbo engines like the Giulia. From previous oil used I believe they used onl SN rated oil for the car and had hesitation when cold. Now there is no hesitation and is much smoother and quieter. Great oil, OEM is awesome to, but have used Mobil 1 on my truck since 1999 and change every 5K. Had valve covers off last week, the oil journals on the head and surrounding areas very clean for 100k. CAMs, nice and polished, no scuffs. Whatever oil you use, OEM or Mobil 1, stick with it for the life of the vehicle and DO NOT mix technologies ie other oil brands. ... show more
