I always changed my own oil in my vehicles and have used this product with ease. It is a very good synthetic type motor oil and will use again. There is a caution that you will want to consider. The product mentions 20,000 miles, no matter what type of oil you use. It is not good for your engine to go that long with the same oil. I never go any longer than 5000 miles between oil changes and have not had any engine problems throughout all the vehicles that I have owned. I would recommend this product but again consider the amount of time and miles in between your oil changes. ... show more

Been a user of Mobil1 for since the 1980's and have NEVER had an engine problem due to a lack of lubrication as I also change the filter every time. The synthetics are far superior to the petroleum-based oils and even though my auto driving habits do not accumulate the miles to reach 10K miles each time, it is peace of mind to know that the engine has fresh oil in which to operate. The vehicle that uses this recommended particular weight has given flawless performance in regular use. Am keeping my autos longer because of the ever-increasing prices of the new ones (and the lack of a car payment!) so it pays to treat them right with great oil from Mobil 1. ... show more
