I needed a value oriented SSD for an older machine and the price was right on this drive. Hardware wise, it's nothing spectacular -- TLC NAND with a DRAMless controller is pretty much par for the course. Being made in Taiwan is one aspect that sets these apart from other value drives, however. The drive was about half filled at the time of testing with KDiskMark (Linux), and performance wise, it actually did better than advertised for read -- 550 MB/s (535 MB/s advertised). Writing was slower, but still decent; after all, it's still a DRAMless drive and there are limits on the SATA interface. Besides, it's still way faster than a platter drive. Installed easily and works well enough. This isn't a performance drive so if you keep your expectations low you won't be disappointed. I used it to replace the hard drive in a streaming pc and it works fine so far. No issues.
