My 4 year old loves his drum set. I set it up for him in about an hour with him wanting to unbox all the equipment (helping). It came nicely organized/labeled and was pretty easy to follow instructions and put together. Seems pretty durable so far at 2 days in. This does come with a sound board of course with different adaptors (not included). It should be known that a separately ordered speaker will need to be purchased unless your child/ you can tolerate using only earphones. The sound only can be played out of the earphones with this set. I have gone ahead and purchased an amplifier/ auxiliary speaker for my son as he is sensitive to things on his head/ears. ... show more

My kid loved it, he said it's the best gift ever! We got this electric drum set for my kid, and it’s been amazing! It's compact, and most importantly quiet with headphones, it is perfect for practicing at home without disturbing the whole house. Highly recommend for young drummers

I have no idea how to drum, but I've always be drum-curious. So when this popped up I decided to pull the trigger on it. I'm glad I did, it's been fun to play around with, and I can't wait for my father in law who was a drummer in the 70's to get a chance to try it out. I've had a lot of fun noodling around on them, I do wish there was an easier way to mix in audio to the headphones, I feel like that would be a better way to practice. ... show more

    • A fairly good e drum kit for beginner kids and adults alike
I like that this e-drum kit is fairly straight forward and quick to put together. I want to note that if you want to fold the kit away like in the pictures with the mesh and pad triggers still attached, you will have to change one of the arm positions so that both snare and tom 3 can clear each other when you fold the arms inward. Why did I give this e-drum set a 5 star when the kit is far from what you would get from the name brand kits? It’s because this kit is simple and straight forward with all of the triggers sensing the playing properly and accurately. The mesh head has a nice and proper tension, the rubber pads senses the playing dynamics very well. The two pedals, while not the best still works well when proper and even pressure applied on them. For a beginner learning how to play drums like me and my nephew, this kit has everything one would need to get started right away. While I got this kit for my nephew, I’m thinking of getting another set for myself so I can make a custom e-percussion kit. The kit is, of course, not perfect. While the mesh drums can sense playing dynamics very well, the drum sample included in the sound module don’t seem to have equal volume output. There’s no way to adjust velocity or dynamics for each drum sound sample. However, if you’re planning on getting serious with this kit and want a better sound, you can connect the drum module via USB and control other USB midi devices/apps like GarageBand. Some apps will even allow you to fine tune the sensitivity and velocity so that you can make this kit feel even better to play. I also want to note that while the pedals work fine right now, they are cheaply made and I’m not confident about how long they would last. Other components of the kit seem to work fine. Also, none of the included mesh heads have rim click sensor so there’s no option for playing rim clicks on the snare with this kit. Lastly, the other reason why I give this a 5 star is the fact that the mesh and pad sensors are pretty well isolated from the frame so that you don’t accidentally trigger other sensors when playing. However, if you hit the part directly connected to the drum/pad, like on the cymbal arm or the clamp, you will accidentally trigger the sensor. So if you play the kit properly, you’re most likely not going to have accidental triggering. If you’re looking to get a kit for your kid or if you’re learning drums yourself as an adult, this is a fairly good kit to get. If you’re a very tall individual, the frame will probably be too short for you. But those who are of average height like I am, the frame will sufficiently extend to the proper height. ... show more

Definitely one of mine and my son’s favorite products of the year! This is the perfect drum set for my 5 year old who is just learning and taking an interest in playing. He uses his dad’s drum set now, but it’s very loud so this electronic one is excellent! He can stick his headphones on and drum away and it’s super quiet. My husband, who is a drummer and used to play professionally put this together quick and easy- he said that this is really good basic drum set for little ones. If you are more advanced and need something a little more high tech, you may want to keep looking but for kids starting out, you can’t beat this. Performs well and it’s a great size. Very easy to fold in and store in closet which is another plus. Comes with a swivel seat and drum sticks so has everything you need right out of the box. 5 stars! 🌟 ⭐️ ... show more
