I first received this couch with warped parts, so assembly was impossible. I was disappointed but I was sent a second replacement couch within a reasonable timeframe, so with that- I was satisfied. Assembly: When assembling the couch the second time, we had to pull parts from the original shipment, to compensate for two of the new parts being slightly warped. However, the instructions were easy enough to follow. The biggest problem with assembly is the brackets, which serve as the central legs- they don’t totally snap or click in securely, even with the strength of three people and swapping out the old and new pieces several times. Everything was aligned well enough though, so it don’t take long to screw pieces in. Sturdiness: When one or two people sit on the couch, there is significant clicking and wobbling, particularly in the back frame and center of the couch. It holds us up thus far, so I can’t say that it isn’t sturdy, but it doesn’t always feel secure. Also, lifting the couch from either end to simply turn it caused the center brackets to come apart, so we had to drag it on the floor. Comfort: Surprisingly, once getting over the fear of it collapsing under us, it’s pretty comfortable so far. I like the slightly springy cushions and I wish the back cushions were the same. I also love the moveable ottoman with storage, it makes the size and shape flexible for any space. Value for Money: Honestly, for all its faults- it is a cheap couch and you get what you pay for. Everyone’s definition of cheap may differ but I feel that it’s a cheaply manufactured couch, so you pay a pretty cheap price. Do I wish my 300 dollars went a bit further in quality? Yes. But for as long as it holds us up, I am satisfied with the cost for what I received. Decent “first couch.” ... show more

Pros: Decent cushions Light weight Pockets Cheap Cons: The length and width of this couch is uncomfortably small, wouldn't plan on buying this as a bed like I did. The legs were a pain to put on and off the bat are lose after fully tightening them making it very fragile for more than one person to sit on. The front panels which are for aesthetics only didn't have matching holes. I've measure the the distance between the holes and the 2 panels and it's off by 3 inches making it impossible to put together unless you can make your own holes. -if you plan to keep items underneath the couch like me you won't be bothered by this but I know some people would be upset Takes about 3-6 hours to put together The back is also a bit fragile, I recommend putting this couch up to a wall, the back is supported from the 2 arm rests by a metal slide that's screwed in the arm rests. These slides being the backs only support makes it move a lot and any heavy pressure would snap the back panel off the wooden armrests. Overall: great couch for gaming and storage, recommend to college student who has limited space but would recommend an actual bed or a different couch when it comes to sleeping arrangements. I didn’t expect much in a couch at this price point, which is good because this couch needs some help to be usable. The assembly was easy to do by myself and I left the cushions out to fluff up for a while (they come vacuum packed flat). Well, the cushions barely fluffed at all and it hurt my butt to sit on it for more than 10 minutes because there are springs in the cushions, which is great to prevent sagging but doesn’t feel good to sit on. I bought a cheap bag of poly-fill at the store and stuffed the seat cushions and the back cushions. Thankfully the covers have zippers so it’s easy to add some stuffing. I overstuffed them to make it comfortable over the springs and it’s great now!! The couch looks sleek and is a decent size for being a tiny piece of furniture. Super lightweight and matches any decor style. I recommend this if you need something small and cheap, but do yourself and the couch a favor and stuff the cushions so you can actually sit on it. ***photos show one cushion stuffed vs. original flat cushion and last photo shows 6 year old for size reference and how good the couch looks once fully stuffed :) ... show more

For the price, this couch is great. However, I’d almost have rather have spent more for something more comfortable. The back is too low so it gets uncomfortable after a little bit. The ottoman is nice and has a lot of space. The assembly was pretty simple but also a little frustrating because none of the parts are labeled so it’s matching everything to the drawings on the instructions, again not difficult but could’ve been streamlined if everything was labeled. One of the legs came cracked and I don’t have the patience to return or request a new leg, it still does it’s job. Overall not a bad purchase for the cost but this is in my bedroom as just a space filler, I wouldn’t recommend this as a couch for a living room where you’ll have guests use it or where you’ll sit to unwind after a long day. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this couch for a year now and it is still holding up. I wanted something for a small space and it definitely hit the mark. The assembly was a little challenging but I managed, the velcro areas do not adhere well but if it’s in a low impact area it should hold up well. I do wish I had invested more money in comfort because after falling asleep on the sofa and waking up to a sore body I realized it is not a good fit for the den but would be better suited for an office space. ... show more
