I installed this hot water heater on a 400sq foot cabin where the old hot water heater had died. Local hot water heaters at Lowes cost over $1000 minimum for identical specifications due to lack of availability on big island. This heater arrived and was identical in size, appearance, and function to the previous heater, except it's digital now, so hookup was quite simple. The led displays are fairly bright, and it's simple to select the desired temperature. This hot water heater is able to sustain extremely hot water fairly indefinitely to a single shower, which was my target. The water flow is good at that volume, and it's operation is fairly silent. Overall quality of the unit seems fine, though time will tell. All in all, I would definitely buy this heater again for a small application like this. ... show more

UPDATE: I have abused this machine for almost a month now running it at max temperature taking 2 10 minute showers each day between me and my partner. It is extremely efficient, we use small 5 gal propane tanks that and they last roughly 2-3 weeks of us using them a lot. We also hand wash our dishes and it still manages to last super long. This is one of the few indoor built instant propane water heaters on this app and website. It does not disappoint, the price tag reflects the quality. It gives instant hot water and works amazingly as advertised. I've been using this for showers over the past week and it works great. It is super easy to mount and although it doesn't come with the fittings and proper connections for gas or water you can easily find these at your local hardware store. It will cost a little extra but I guarantee after you try it you will love it. I have this unit mounted in my camper that I live inside all year around and it is the greatest upgrade I've done to this place. ... show more

It works amazingly well. It's efficient and with our warm temperatures in trinidad 🇹🇹 it's perfect. The only challenges I got was the wiring inside was giving me a E7 error code, because the igniter coil wires was near the cold water sensor. I separated it and it's smooth sailing. I love it 😀.

Easy install, works great takes slightly longer to get hot water to the tap than the old tank style but it never runs out of hot water. Love it. Uses less propane than the old one too.

My five-star rating could change as this unit has only been up and running for a week. It was on sale for an irresistible price so I took a chance. It is rated higher than others at its non-sale price point, but it lacked the number of feedbacks that I would normally like to see. I eliminate dumb 1 and two star ratings but still pay attention to them. At 4.3 with no issues that seemed to be a roadblock for me, it was worth a try. I live alone so 3.6 gpm is more than enough flow rate, and 80,000 btu is plenty. Even two people could be using hot water simultaneously provided those outlets are low flow imho. It responds fast for my plumbing distances and stays on point with no temperature waffling...yet. My slight lack of confidence is based on the age old "you get what you pay for" mantra, but sometimes you get a gem. Other than awkward grammar at times, the instructions were pretty clear. MAKE SURE you have a gas line that matches or exceeds the btu rating of the unit. That was not clear in the instructions ... show more

Replaced a 39 year old Bosch Aquastar with this one , could not find parts any longer. Had to buy new fittings as the old one had 3/8 connections for the propane and water. Total install time 1 hour. Heater works well and supply enough water for a family of two. It is much smaller than the Aquaster saving space in utility room. Will see how it performs and works in the long run.
