Update: I absolutely love this brush and why didn’t I buy one sooner? I can’t believe how much cat hair I’ve brushed out of my cats this week. My other cat brush will probably only be used for massive shedding seasons at this point. This brush is worth using daily or a couple times a week. And as much hair as I’ve removed from them, it’s clear to me why my cat was constantly throwing up hairballs even tho the other brush didn’t pull out hair. I haven’t seen a hairball since I bought this. Original review: This pairs really well with my other, bigger cat brush. I can brush and brush with that one, but eventually I stop pulling much hair out even tho there’s plenty more I can pinch out - their undercoat is dense and fine. This one has helped brush that fur out. Additionally, and super important for my big dandruffy cat, is that it seems to pull out loose dandruff and oils better because those are stuck to the undercoat. My biggest cat isn’t overweight, just huge, and he’s never been one to clean himself much, AND he has bad dandruff. As he gets older his coat is getting worse with the dandruff and oils, so I’ve set out to buy products that can help get his coat under control. This brush is helping a lot! If you’re looking to have clean furniture this will be ur friend, brush ur fur-baby everyday and I swear you will notice a difference!!! For real, i got this to help for when I would pick up my furbaby all their furr would be on me after but this thing makes a huge difference instead of 1 million hairs their is only 1 that i can spot and take off. If you think you need this you do and it works! Also for reference I use this on my short haired/ mid length 9lbs cat! Now the only down fall this product could think about making something to minimize is when you brush down ur furbaby sometimes the hair doesn’t filling lock into the combs so it ends up pushing the hair to the tail and then into the air in seconds like there is no way of catching it if you yourself has an air purifier ur air is constantly cycling, at least it catches the hair but i worry that for those who don’t it could creat more hair in the air or for those who do have an air purifier it will load up the filler fast. ... show more

My cats really like it- those with long fur and those with short fur, both. It has a decent width and is comfortable to grip. I know some mention it could be a little longer and I agree, but it wouldn’t stop me from buying it again. Also some mention it doesn’t work as well as the name brand and that may be so, but I don’t notice a difference. However the name brand one I have is for shorter fur and much smaller width so it doesn’t work well for my cats with long fur. Regardless, my cats get super excited to be brushed now so that’s what matters most for me. ... show more

I had this brush in purple, but it was lost when I moved last month. Just purchased a new one in teal and it works just as amazing as the first one I had! I had gotten a different brush that came with nail clippers and some other things, but that brush did not work nearly as well as this one, which is a shame because that one was a push-to-release type of design. if youre debating it… buy it. i have a cat (grey hair pic) and a dog (straight hair goldendoodle, brown hair pic) and they shed quite a bit. the hair in my house can be hard yo manage. they both have a loose undercoat that you find on the blinds, furniture, clothes.. just everywhere. i absolutely despise this, especially as someone who cleans consistently. i was so excited to use this and it did not disappoint. so much came off of my cat and my dog. obviously you cant just brush it all off of them in one sitting, but wow. i cant wait to continue to use this and see the hair slowly disappear out of my house! ... show more
