Features

  • UPGRADE YOUR EXPERIENCE: The Mito Red Light Glasses offer attenuation of the most commonly used red and near-infrared LED therapy light to reduce eye strain. Their sleek, ergonomic design seamlessly combines style with comfort. Elevate your comfort and wellness with Mito Red Lights red light therapy glasses!
  • SLEEK, LIGHTWEIGHT AND PURPOSEFULLY DESIGNED: Many so called 'red light therapy glasses' are just bulky repurposed laser goggles. They are too big and may actually be ineffective at blocking Near Infrared light above 800nm. At Mito Red, red light therapy is what we do. Our glasses are designed to attenuate the most commonly used wavelengths in RLT devices, while being lightweight and sleek - so the eyes can be covered but the therapeutic light can act on the facial skin as you want it to!
  • BALANCED AND TARGETED ATTENUATION: These glasses attenuate the most common wavelengths used in LED red and near infrared light therapy devices (600nm - 900nm), while still allowing some visible light through. With two choices (Dark) and (Extra Dark) you can choose the level of attenuation that optimizes for your comfort and specific use case.
  • PROTECTION YOU CAN TRUST: Beware other glasses that claim they block 100% of the light - almost certainly this is red light ONLY. Red light therapy eye protection should attenuate BOTH red and near infrared (NIR) light. Near infrared can penetrate into bone, so it will easily go through sunglasses or other poorly designed goggles. The testing in our photos is done with a high powered Mito Red Light panel with BOTH red and NIR active.
  • INDUSTRY LEADER & ENSURED SATISFACTION: Headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, for over 5 years Mito Red Light Inc has been an industry leader in designing and manufacturing cutting-edge devices. With unmatched selection, multiple patents pending, and over 65,000 ecstatic customers (and counting), were committed to both continued innovation and 100% customer satisfaction. Our friendly customer service team is here to help in the rare case of an issue with your purchase or if you have any questions.

  • perfect for red light therapy
Size: IR5
I just started doing red light therapy and wanted to make sure my eyes are protected. Most of the goggles/glasses I found were designed for UV light, not red light, but I found these that are designed for the red light spectrum. I typically keep my eyes closed anyway, but with these I can open my eyes on occasion and not be concerned. The glasses themselves are very lightweight and comfortable. They fit my face very well and don't seem to let much if any light in around the edges. They are perfect my needs during red light therapy. One thing to note is that these glasses are about the same size as sunglasses, so they cover the lower eye. One of the claims of red light therapy is that it helps with under-eye puffiness, and I wonder if that's still true when the lower eye is covered by the glasses. It seems the "peepers" style would be better for this situation, but I haven't found "peepers" specifically for red light therapy, so I believe these are the best for me. ... show more

  • Lightweight and comfy
Size: IR5
The Mito red light glasses are an excellent choice for your eye protection. As soon as you slip these on, you can appreciate the snug, goggle like fit. Yet, they are feather light, and quite comfortable. So, I just got a large tabletop red light therapy machine that is blinding without glasses. When you are using it, anyone in the vicinity needs eye protection. I chose these Mito red light glasses to have available whenever I am running the device. And I am so thankful I got these. This pair is ultra dark green. As soon as you put them on, the red light vanishes. Now, I definitely don't look directly at the red lights. But I can absolutely say these work great. What I also can appreciate is the tiny hole in the arms of the glasses. This allows my to attach my neckchain for easy access. They do have a marking on the inside: ANSI Z87.1 , I did my research, and this is a testing standard for Eyewear. Basically, they shouldn't crack upon impact. These glasses are engineered to shield your eyes from red, and near- infrared light. (600nm-900nm wavelengths only). These extra dark IR5 glasses are designed for red and NIR LED light therapy. They can reduce the light by 95%. Overall, these glasses are a must have if you are using any red light device in the presence of others. Not only should you be protected, your loved ones deserve protection too. I absolutely recommend them 👌. ... show more

  • Great for using my LED red light therapy lamp
Size: IR5
I use a small red light therapy light, and have these block out black goggles they sent me, but they are uncomfortable, pushing in on my eyeballs. These glasses block out the light, altho, I can still see out. They are green colored, but then after wearing them for a while your eyes adjust (just like my yellow safety goggles). I usually just keep my eyes closed, when relaxing under the lights, but with these I can still see to do things, like answer the phone or see where the cat is without having to remove the total blockers and get a full blast of red light. These are great, I still dont stare directly into the therapy light when its on when I have these on, but I can do other things while doing the light therapy. ... show more

  • Comfortable and lightweight
Size: IR3
These dark green, Mito Red Light glasses are very lightweight. They are fairly flexible. I can wear them while lying down with my head on a pillow and they will flex just enough to remain comfortable when I turn my head. They are large enough to cover my eyes from my brow line down to the top of my cheeks. They also do a good job of blocking light from entering at the sides as long as you are looking at the light straight on. A little bit of light can creep in from the bottom at the sides if you tilt your head up or down...but just a little. If you want 100% light blocking, I would suggest that you buy light blocking goggles that completely cover your eyes. I find that these are more comfortable than goggles and don't mind giving up a small amount of light blocking in exchange. For longer sessions, I found myself wishing that there was a bit more cushioning over the part that rests on the bridge of my nose but that is only a minor concern because these glasses really are lightweight. Overall, they are both lightweight and flexible enough to be comfortable for wearing during red light sessions. They do a good job of blocking out the red light. ... show more

  • Block red light all the way around my viewing area
Size: IR5
These red light blocking glasses are nice because they are small and snug and do not let light in around the edges. They are very light weight and small young that you can lay on your side with them on for a back treatment and they are not in the way or uncomfortable. I have not done enough research to understand the numbers on the side and what they mean. I do know that I can feel a difference with these red light glasses over another pair that I own. I still do not look at the light but I do not feel any eye strain or blinding light thru them. ... show more

  • red light protective glasses-comfortable good fit
Size: IR3
i’m glad i got these glasses. they fit well so that light doesn’t get through the sides. i got a red light panel that came with opaque goggles. these glasses are way more comfortable and convenient. instead of sitting around unable to see anything while i get red light therapy, i can read or use my phone. these are currently listed for $13, which seems reasonable. ... show more

  • They work
Size: IR5
I ordered these glasses so I could read while taking "red light therapy" with a red light led lamp. These work fine for that and, because they wrap around the eye, they are very good at blocking the red light from all sides. I tried them outside in daylight and they seemed to work fine there, too. They are sturdy and I just keep them on my bedside table for easy access. ... show more
