  • A+ wonderful made part. Huge upgrade over stock cooler
Hose connectors are barbed and rough so hose won’t come off once on. Also the ends are bigger so stretch the end of new hoses before installation. Hard work for me because it’s slippery in the hands. Once installed it’s 200%+ improvement

  • Easy install
A little tough to get hoses seated back on but overall a great upgrade!!

  • Expensive but a good buy
Product works nice, I’ve had it for a few months now. I just wish they talked about how much fluid you should add since it’s bigger then the oem part.

  • Quality seems good
The in/outlets are a bit thicker than the oem cooler. So it might be a challenge putting the hose. but not impossible add some kinda lubricant or have someone help u hold the cooler while u push in the hose, overall it seems pretty good I will keep monitoring the trans temperature to see if it actually make a difference. ... show more

  • Keeps ATF cooler for longer transmission life.
It cools from 204 to 190 in half the time as the tiny stock cooler.

  • be ready to fight the hoses on
Dislike that the ports where a little bigger than factory it was hard to get the hoses on

  • A Total Disaster - Be Forewarned!
THIS WAS A DISASTER FOR ME - MAYBE YOU'LL HAVE BETTER LUCK. If you have any doubt or fears about doing this yourself, pay to have a capable mechanic/auto repair shop perform the job. The manufacturer's video stated this was a simple direct replacement for my 2014 Ford F150. The Mishimoto did not even snap securely into the Ford bracket. It was too large on one side. The bulge of the inlet and outlet tubes was too large to slide into the existing connection hoses. The factory intercooler had straight tubes. The pressure needed in attempting to fit the new connections damaged the existing hoses causing a leak. Both hoses needed to be replaced by a mechanic, as well a going to a new intercooler from a different manufacturer. I watched the videos several times and visited Mishimoto's website before attempting the installation. A new intercooler and fittings cost me $850 plus the $350 I lost on the Mishhimoto.
