Manufactured wrong. The middle support is upside down so the support pieces cant be connected. Complete waste of time and now I have to take it apart and haul to UPS store to return. Awesome.

    • **Not** Quite Sure I'd Describe This as Easy Assemble...

My daughter is nearly 17 and it won't be terribly long until she leaves for college. She grew tired of the loft bed she'd had for years, so we decided to do just a basic bed. Since I own one hammer and one screwdriver, the most important feature I was looking for was "easy assemble", as this one claimed to be. What I thought would be a 30-minute job turned into a three-hour job. Many of the screws were stripped on this bedframe, leaving us scrambling to figure how to get the screws tight enough so that her bedframe doesn't collapse and leave her on the floor. The included tools were not going to work, given that I had so many stripped screws, so I ended up tightening many screws with my hand, leaving me with a massive open and bleeding wound on my finger. Once we had the bed assembled, things have been fine. Despite my concerns that the screws were not tight enough, the bed has not collapsed nor has it fallen to the floor. I would not feel comfortable using this frame for a bed I intended to get many years of use out of, nor would I feel comfortable if I thought there would be a lot of movement in the bed. I guess this is one of those situations where you get what you pay for...fortunately, it will work for now, but I am not hopeful when it comes to longevity of this product. ... show more

This was easy to put together, aside from a piece that arrived bent and was a pain to bend back into place. The corners are on the sharp side, but no jagged bits sticking out or anything. It seems to be very sturdy and it has that simple, minimalist sort of look with the clean lines and no embellishments. There is enough space underneath it for storage. There's plenty of support. The platform does seem a bit slippery, and there's no ledge to stop a mattress from sliding, so it's probably a good idea to get some adhesive pads to prevent sliding. This bed frame is sturdy and seems to be well made. It has enough space underneath that I can store some items in my room as well. I think it's a good value for the price and it was easy to put together. Overall I'm very pleased with it.
