I love this UV resin!! I didn't used to want to bother with resin because of the smell and mixing and making a mess, I have to wear gloves, I have to wait for it to dry, I am an impatient crafter, I simply cannot! Then I came across this UV resin while watching videos about pin doming. I used to use mod podge dimensional magic but it took FOREVER to dry and makes the ink on my pins bleed. The Miraclekoo UV resin cures hard in 3 mins (for my small 1.5" pins)! Probably less but that's what I set my timer for. Bubbles are so much easier to pop, just wave a flame over it real quick with a lighter and poof! No more bubbles! It doesn't make my ink bleed and I can just use my dog pee detector (lol!) to cure it. Why not? It's a 12 LED 395nm UV flashlight and it works well with this resin. I built a little curing box for it so the UV light is contained and not exposed. I mostly use this for small things: pins, magnets, keychains, jewelry, purse hooks, some embellishments, nothing bigger than 5" so my little flashlight oven works pretty well. Also doesn't smell bad, some hint of chemical smell but you have to have your project real close to your face to be able to smell the faint chemical smell while wet. ... show more

    • I'm no expert with resin, but this is great for beginners!

I bought this to top my small resin charms and make them more durable. I bought a 36W UV lamp in hopes that it would cure my resin faster and so I wouldn't have to get (my lazy butt) up to cure it in the sun instead. But the 36W UV lamp did not fully cure the resin... and I don't know if it's the lamp or the resin itself because when I put my resin topped charms in the sun they hardened quite quickly. I had the resin charms under the lamp for hoouuurrrsss and I was still able to put a dent in it with my fingernail (I wasn't trying to dig it in there or anything). It also doesn't create little bubbles when I squeeze the resin out of the tube and if there are some bubbles I just push them off the edge with a toothpick. TL;DR It's a great, easy to use resin that adds some strength and shine to your pieces. Cure in the sunlight for best results! ... show more

    • A good product for a great price! Wonderful for cosplay pieces.

Works great for my cosplay needs! You need a stronger UV or LED lamp to cure it.(can’t use those tiny handheld led flash lights) I used both my LED and UV nail polish lamps and both worked great. After it cures it may seem like it’s soft or a little sticky (I mean like hardly at all though) to the touch but it’s actually completely cured and it’ll wear off. It’s runnier than my previous UV resin so it doesn’t dome as much as some but that worked really well for filling my more complicated molds. I really enjoy this stuff. I needed some super quick duplicates of costume pieces (so I didn’t exactly make the cleanest mold...thus why my result doesn’t seem crystal clear) definitely recommend. Make sure you can some ventilation if you’re doing large pieces. This lets off some fumes (not smelly but it’s not good for you). In small bits it’s fine but anyone working with resin should know ventilation is necessary. ... show more

I use this resin often for making jewelry with pressed flowers and it is very easy to use. However, to get the best results, you should buy a uv curing lamp. When I first began using this resin, I figured I would put the jewelry in the sun to cure since I get a lot of direct sunlight where I live. But it took a long time for the resin to fully cure and not be sticky. Then I bought a uv flashlight, and I had the same problem. I finally got good results when I used this resin with a uv lamp. Now I have great results and the resin fully cures. I do get small bubbles in this resin, though. ... show more

    • Very clear, very hard resin!
I do like this resin a lot. It cures clear as glass and very hard. For the people who have issues with it being a little sticky when cured, try to leave your cured items in the sun for a day or two. That always solves the problem for me. After that, it’s perfect and very solid. I do recommend it!

    • Get the job done but HORRIBLE SMELL

It cures pretty solid. I usually put it under UV light for 1 min and it already cured. However, the finished product is a little sticky, just a little so that if I let it set for a day or 2 I would not notice the stickiness anymore. The biggest drawback which make me not buying this anymore is the STRONG SMELL. I can see the light smoke come out when I put it under UV, and the smoke come with horrible smell which give me headache. I have to work on this in a big room with good air flow in hope to reduce the smell but still, I can't work on it more than 10 mins. My suggestion if you still want to use this product: put a piece of fabric or something to cover the product when you are curing it, and when finish, uncover it and put the fan on immediately! ... show more
