I stained my old butcher block. It was easy to use but very messy , make sure to wear gloves. They are in a very tiny package that could easily be lost.     • A little bit thick…

These wipes would be great for little crafts or small touch-ups, but we aware the stain is extremely thick which makes it somewhat difficult to apply and takes a lot of reworking to make it look nice. I used it to touch up a stained piece of furniture that was a similar color originally. I sanded the piece lightly and didn’t remove most of the original finish, then I used these wipes across the entire surface of the furniture. I used quite a few wipes because I was unhappy with how thick and blotchy the stain applied initially. I ended up finding the method that worked best was to wipe down the whole area with the stain then wipe down the whole area with a damp rag, then wipe down the area with the stain again and repeat until you achieve the desired finish. This helped to thin out the stain a bit to get a more even finish and I’m very happy with the results! If you don’t need a whole can of stain, this is a great option, but it’s not entirely mess-free and you WILL get it all over your hands unless you wear a decent pair of gloves (although I will say it washes off the skin very easily with a little soap and scrubbing). ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I had two 46 year old mirrors that I was going to paint the frames. I stumbled onto these cloths and thought I may as well try them. I did a light sanding and dusted them off, then used one wipe for each frame. The wipes themselves are messy in the package and I used my own gloves, but the consistency is thick and doesn't drip at all. They applied so perfectly, easily, and I didn't even tape the mirror. Nothing dripped at all! One coat and they are perfect. They look brand new and I love them. The stain didn't smell at all and was totally dry within an hour. I highly recommend these!. ... show more

The color was right on but the stain on the cloth in my opinion was too thick and hard to spread evenly leaving dark and light areas as I applied. The gloves included were totally inadequate ( had to use disposable ones from another source) but stain was easily removed from hands with soap and water and a bit of scrubbing. This method is convenient but I think I’ll stick with the regular more controllable stain in the future. Wish they had a nail polish this color. ... show more

These rock. For sanding down old tables and using to refurbish or doing small projects, it’s such an easy clean up. The cloths last a long time. They are highly saturated. The price is worth it. I have done several projects with them so far. The color is gorgeous. Because they are so saturated you can get into little crevices easy and even dip a tips into it. It isn’t dripping everywhere even though the cloth is extremely wet with the product. Five stars. ... show more

This is one of the worst products I have ever used!! The video about it showed some woman using it to stain a peice of furniture. She took the wipe and rubbed it across the wood, and it just glided on so smoothly, almost effortlessly.I thought it would be just that easy. WRONG!!! When I opened the package( that was completely sealed). I made the mistake of not testing it first on some wood scrap. And when I began to apply it, it was a half dry, sticky mess. I had to use a lot of pressure to cover it, and the cloth kept stopping and dragging on the wood. There were bare spots, and when I tried to go back and cover them, the cloth would stick and the stain sometimes balled up. And every where I held it while staining it. There are dark blotches where my fingers were. And I even used brand new powder free latex gloves to keep it clean and keep the stain off of my hands. The stain went on very uneven, and it is supposed to be Maple. Which is supposed to be a Yellowish golden brown color, and this turned out looking Orange. It doesn’t look at all natural. Like any, really good wood stain would. I have used stain numerous times before and always had good results. The thing that made so angry, is that this is a Minwax product. And I have always had positive experiences with this brand. I trusted again. And this time It ruined my project. I had both time and money in this project. And now it looks like crap. I won’t ever buy this product again. And J might not use Minwax products again either. ... show more
