This quilt is soft and has a slight industrial smell when opened. Thinner than expected. This kind of quilt is not suitable to be covered directly on the body, it is not very friendly to the skin, and it will make a rustling sound when it is covered. Probably not all cotton. PERFECT is an understatement in regards to the material & weight if this blanket. I can always layer other blankets with this but I wanted something light I can use year round. Unfortunately my 5 1/2yr old male dog has suddenly started chewing blankets & bedding. I blame it on the fact that his older sister dog was put down due to cancer in May & even though he’s got 2 younger sister dogs that was his BFF. These were buy 2 for the price of 1 so I figured if he chews them in a few months then it’s ok. My last blanket lasted almost a year from on here & I was able to salvage it by tediously sewing it. I just got these yesterday too, washed them today, & NO shrinkage, tears, NOTHING. Now my son saw them so I just bought 2 more luckily on the same sale for him because he loves how soft they are & is trying to steal mine =) ... show more
