I plugged it into a wall adapter and placed it on the bottom of a very large bucket. Turned on and immediately made a loud noise but no water movement. After playing with the control (with no instructions) I was able to get the ultrasonic to work a little. The control is press and hold while it cycles over the various modes. Getting returned soon but I am considering the upgrade model as the control appears to be a simple push button design. ... show more

Bought this for small loads of socks when they are super muddy and to much for just throwing in a washer. Doesn't really work well, Put about 5 or 6 socks in a small bucket with this item in the bottom, turned her on and watched to see how well it would clean the mud of socks. I wasn't super happy to see that the socks simply just kinda floated in the water without moving much. Occassionally it would slowly andgently be pulled down under the surface of the water, but that was about it. Simply put the item itself doesn't have the strength but to barely agitate the surface of the water, let alone clean your socks. Don't waste your money. ... show more
