One of my favorite travel tea sets. The size is as expected as an Asian Gong Fu tea set. It is not a western style tea set, and therefore, it is small, and is never meant to be larger than for a couple of pours. The last photo shows the size of the pour with another light green tea pot that I own. You can compare the size based on that. It is very similar in size with an average Chinese gong fu tea pot. I like that this set is small, and can be used with the existing tea strainer. It is also very complementary for my existing set, as I can use this set as an extra pour for straining tea, and use it for a larger tea procession and ceremony. I also really like the quality of the set. And the wood part for the pot easily pulls out for washing. Made well, and for the price of $18.89, it is definitely better than the ones that are similar to the other sets online for $50+. Overall, it is an amazing size, carries in one hand, and compact enough to fit into the delivered case. Will update after a few road trips and whether it lasts longer than 6-months. If no updates, then it means it lasted (lol). Update: after a week of owning this item, I liked it so much, I bought another set for my friend, as a gift. Great little cute tea set. A small tea light candle actually does keep the tea hot in the kettle. If you start by brewing with hot water, the candle maintains the temperature for as long as you need. I like making a pot of tea and keeping it hot on my coffee table while I watch tv or relax on the sofa. Simple and elegant, it’s exactly what I hoped it would be. I needed something I could bring along on hikes that was compact and I could just throw into my day bag— this was it! It has enough room to also include a small amount of tea in the pack with it, so all I need to bring along is a thermos of hot water. This in a good little compact tea set to get. I haven't used it much on the go. But I do use it a lot in my room where I have little space for a larger tea set to go. Only issue is it does tend to be prone to spill when trying to pour it.

I bought this with another set to decide between the two and absolutely couldn't part with this one. Pros: - Filter is fine mesh metal, not the ceramic big holed filters that often come with these - wooden bit prevents burning finger tips - filter has plenty of lip to grab and not get burned - lid flips over to sit filter in after steeping - sturdy little set and cute carry pack Cons - it is 150ml NOT 200ml. All that being said, usually the tea in China i served in this smaller teaware, so this isn't a "toy set" it is actually used (and I plan to use it regularly). If you love the ritual of Chinese tea but want a nice little tea for one set, this is a great buy! ... show more

One of my teacups has a flaw; it wasn't sealed right when they dipped it before curing. Teacups are about a thumb length, and the width is a thumb's width. Very small. It's cool if you need to drink a cup of tea from its brewing jar because it's double-layered, you can take off the tea leaves with no problem, and that leaves you about a cup of tea, and you can use the lid to keep it warm. I will use the teacups as the holder for the inner cup (strainer) so that I don't get drippings everywhere. It's cute as a button but is it NOT an ideal gift for a tea lover. one cup of tea is just not enough. Kind of like the European coffee cup vs. American coffee cup, ours is for the extreme drinking, LOL ... show more

Honestly, i haven't used the little tealight to make tea yet but I heat up water and put it with my tea bag in the kettle. Let it sit a few minutes then pop in a few sugar cubes and omg. So cute! So fun to just slowly serve myself tea in those little cups! It's such a small thing but it makes my day. PLUS your tea stays hotter longer when you sip it and have the kettle covered and pouring just a bit at a time! Love it <3 ... show more
