Many handhelds I've reviewed like this have had lots of light bleed from the display and smaller screens than advertised. This particular one I received had good build quality and very little light bleed. Plus the display was pretty nice. The size was as advertised, and it was plenty bright. The quality is very cheap plastic and came with only one remote which makes multiple player games more difficult because one has to use the tiny keypad on the console. It is a little hard to navigate and find games, but overall it has a lot of options, not many of the greats but a lot of older games, not branded but similar to branded games which is cool. Personally I would spend a little more money and opt for another unit. This works for my 12 year old but my 8 yr old has trouble navigating it ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is perfect for passing time or while waiting for an appointment. Very lightweight. Battery lasts long. Has 500 games in this! All nostalgic games even from the 80s! Fun for all ages!

    • It is mini and retro . . .
. . .and it does seem to have 500 games. I haven't tried them all. Things to know about this: - You will need to set the language every time you start it. - it is rechargeable: Cable included, charger not included. It uses a BL-5C battery like many old flip phones. - Second player control does not have a lot of cable (so you're sitting close.) - if you are going to connect to a TV, you might need an adapter if your TV does not have a composit video input. Also the cable is very short at about 5ft (1.5m). They don't state PAL or NTSC which is OK for now as I don't have an adapter. Fun to be had? Sure. Nostalgic, certainly. When it comes to video games I suspect kids have become a little more sophisticated these days in their expectations. ... show more
