Was buying this for a portable windows PC. It serves the purpose for sure with 12g + 512g storage and a windows 11 pro. The screen is surprisingly sharp with more than 1080p display. The keyboard is a little crowded but I don’t blame it. I did not expect I can type on this like I did on my full size keyboard. Sound is not outstanding, make it weak on streaming movies. The best of the best is that, I finally have a portable thing for my Hero wars! Hero wars web somehow can only be played on a browser of a pc or Mac, not on cell phone or even iPad. It always glitch on these pads or cell phone. This thing is perfect for me so I can have access to my game during any trip lol When you flip the screen you can fill it is not loose, feels sturdy. It is small but a little too thick. It generates heat so don’t use it in you bed:) Finally, As a portable PC, it is competent and serve the purpose. Price is reasonable.     • Great little windows 11 device

I needed a very portable windows 11 operating system device for being able to work while traveling (windows android apps have limited functionality and some programs are not even available, so android tablets/phones/other devices weren't a viable solution). For some context on my use case, run several businesses and there are always unexpected times when I might need to log on real quick and get some urgent work done. Most of this work requires Windows 11 programs. My previous solution was to carry a backpack and 13" laptop with me EVERYWHERE, which was not practical... or comfortable. This mini laptop solved all my issues. The device is perfectly small, light weight, and the processor is powerful enough to run all my "heaviest" applications necessary for work (excel, access, FTPs, document editors, etc) while on the go. I really love this thing and it has been very useful in replacing my much bigger 13" laptop, now I just carry in a smaller shoulder sling bag when I'm out. I have much more peace of mind and comfort since I no longer have to lug around a full sized laptop backpack. The keys and irregular keyboard layout take some getting used to, but I learned them within a couple of days. In my opinion, the keyboard issues others had aren't a dealbreaker unless you have massive hands and need to do a ton of typing. The mouse track pad is not ideal, but since it has a touch screen I have learned to use the screen for most of my pointer navigation and it works very well. The pen is great too. An external bluetooth mouse works great, if you're willing to carry one. Battery life has been great. For my purposes, a single charge will be sufficient for an entire day's use (at most, 2-3 hours of screen time are needed and I still have 25-40% battery). But the portable charger is compact and I usually carry it just for peace of mind. The screen size doesn't bother me, although some programs do get scrunched down into a weird layout (but are still usable). Overall, there are few devices that are this portable that run on windows 11, and many are crazy expensive. This one was priced well, and I am satisfied with the performance. This KOOSMILE 8 inch HD Touch Screen Mini Laptop Computer with Windows 11 Pro worked fine for the first ten days until Microsoft Windows Pro11 demanded that we update and expand the KOOSMILE's Widows 11 Pro Security Software. Shortly thereafter, the HDMI attached Amazon Fire TV Monitor, which has worked perfectly for MANY MONTHS, rotated the monitor's screen representation by 90 degrees as shown in the attached photo. We've been unable to find instructions to reverse this 90 degree rotation and return the monitor screen to its correct upright representation. The older, 11 inch Windows 10Pro Asus laptop the KOOSMILE replaces continues to work perfectly with the same inputs and connections. ALL the evidence points to the corrupt Windows 11Pro Security Update we applied at the software's direction earlier today. Please tell us how to fix this unwanted, disturbing 90 degree monitor rotation asap or we'll return the laptop. ... show more
