  • Mini Amps

I am always trying out. New makes and models of mini guitar amps and this one is doing better than I anticipate.!

  • Product is great, but the shipping...
Color: White
A true bargain for the money, the only thing I would add or change, even if is an option to pay more for is to have an EQ, at least a 3 band on guitar or both guitar and blue tooth, maybe a pre set compression so blending the playing with the mix of song from the recorded sconce The shipping was the part I regret, I had a last minute memorial I had to play at work and paid more for this unit to get it here by the following day, it was a day late and I had to cancel the performance at the memorial, next day delivery should never be promised if it can't be done ... show more

  • Decent
Color: White
This is a decent amp/speaker. As others have stated if the volume is up high then it starts to distort the sound a little bit. This was the perfect little Amp for my niece to practice with.

  • Quality sound
Color: White
This is a fun little amp that you can take anywhere. Portability is key to sitting down and playing anywhere you are whenever you get the urge, and this small amp will not disappoint. It has great sound, although minimal volume, and several settings like reverb and chorus to get the kind of sound you're looking for. It's very aesthetic, and it's only drawback to me was price, which I thought was a touch excessive for what it is. It's a good little system if you can spare the change. ... show more

  • Sound breaks up at even moderate volumes
Color: Black
It’s a cute little lamp and I really wanted to like it. As a Bluetooth speaker it’s not bad and it produces pretty decent sound with a medium base. But there must be something wrong with the guitar circuit because the sound breaks up even if you’re not going at full volume and get a lot of buzz and crackling at the end of each note . If you still want to jump on this thing the build quality is decent even though it’s plastic it feels like the good kind of plastic. It’s a cute little lamp and it’s got a nice battery and it’s relatively portable. It would’ve been nice if it came with some kind of carrying case since you don’t want to get it all banged up. But I cannot recommend this on the sound. It is not good. ... show more

  • Big things come in little packages!
Color: Black
I was very much excited to try this portable guitar amplifier out. I’ve been looking for a convenient solution to practice without needing to find an outlet while still enjoying some amplification and effects. When it arrived, I opened it up and I used the accompanying USB-C cable to begin charging it. The light turned red. When it was done charging about 3 or 4 hours later, the red light goes off. I just wanted to clarify that since the manual didn’t. The best thing about it is of course the quarter inch jack used for connecting your guitar. I know it seems simple but this is something I don’t take it for granted as the manufacturer could’ve made this an 1/8 inch port or some other proprietary connection thereby complicating the whole thing. A quarter inch jack is a worldwide standard that’s good to go at a moment’s notice for connecting a musical instrument. I went and fetched my guitar and a nearby guitar cable, turned it on and I was cooking! Something else the manual doesn’t quite mention (though it’s not super cryptic) is you need to push and hold the power button for a couple of seconds to get it to power down and power off. When powered on, the light illuminates green and when off, it’s darkened. The sound of the mini amp itself when playing guitar is about what I expected: not amazing sound but it is more than adequate. The different effects are a nice addition: Chorus, Reverb and Delay. They sound a little phony but hey, what do you expect with something like this? It sacrifices Dolby-Atmos sound quality for portability and convenience. And I am just fine with it. Using the overdrive/distortion knob, these parameters also sound adequate. Again the sound is not gonna “wow” anybody but it doesn’t need to at all. It’s completely serviceable. Obviously you wouldn’t want to record an album or play a live gig with this thing (although it is possible to become a walking concert since it’s portable). There are also 3 knobs to adjust that further augment the sound: a gain knob for making the guitar distortion sound….well, more distorted. There’s a tone knob for the “dirty” channels and a tone knob for the clean channel. I was expecting some treble, mid-range and bass knobs but this one knob for tone is completely fine. Overall I am more or less happy with the various knobs to change the sound. With the size and portability, it offers a decent amount of options. I had to test out the line out/headphone jack and the sound is surprisingly pretty good. Of course I plugged a nice set of Senheiser studio headphones into this thing so it’s bound to sound better. Makes me wonder how an ultra high end pair of headphones might sound hooked to this thing. I really love the options for connecting to the mini amp. The Bluetooth feature is nice. It can double as a wireless Bluetooth speaker for playing music. I was able to pair it with my iPhone 14 Pro with no opposition. Look for “MINI” amongst your available Bluetooth devices showing on your phone. Sound comes through clearly although I had to make sure the overdrive/distortion knob was set to “clean” otherwise a static sound can be heard. It’s not super noticeable but it’s there. When used as a Bluetooth speaker, it’s great. However I was curious if this was a viable option for jamming along to prerecorded tunes but this method is not recommended. One cannot control the volume of the prerecorded music from Bluetooth via an onboard volume knob on the speaker so it is too quiet to play to. If you turn your phone up to max volume, your guitar will still always be louder than the music especially with distortion on. Without an independent volume knob on the speaker itself, the volume of the guitar is too overpowering. But what about this auxiliary input jack? I fetched a standard 1/8 cable and connected the mini amp to my old tablet which still has a headphone jack. And this method sort of works if you want to jam along to your favorite tunes. I had to turn the tablet volume up to max but with some tweaking on the knobs on the amp, I got some decent mixing results. Bottom line, I love this mini amp. It’s got good features and best of all, portability and accessibility. There are better-sounding options out there for sure but for the money, this is a strong recommendation for guitarists and an easy win for my particular needs. ... show more

  • Okay for very quiet operation, but not for high gain
Color: Black
I play a lot of guitar and do a lot of gear reviews, so I ordered this thinking about the beginner guitarist practicing at home. The good: it actually works pretty well as a Bluetooth speaker. While it doesn’t get loud, the sounds quality is clear. Because of the design, it only sounds good directly in front of the speakers. The bad: when lower frequencies are played, the speaker vibrates and it causes the Bluetooth button to rattle loudly. And because the amp doesn’t get very loud, the button rattle is extremely distracting. Also, playing with gain turned up greatly degrades the sound quality. I would only recommend this for a guitarist who wants to play very quietly and needs to play along with Bluetooth. For me, I will only use this as a Bluetooth speaker when doing garage work. ... show more
