  • Better than expected
Color: White
For the price and size I’m impressed. The battery lasts for quite awhile. If I had to estimate, 5 hours or so. Maybe longer as other people were trying it out too after the full charge. Great portable practice rig.

  • An Ok Amp… but a BT Speaker? Meh…
Color: White
I agree with the other reviewers on the amp aspect… it’s decent and good for basic practice; you are pretty stuck with the presets as, for example, you can’t adjust the gain, but this wasn’t designed to be $4K Boogie. As for the BT, you may not like it. It’s thin sounding and weak. Peace.

  • Very Pleased
Color: White
I am a hobby musician so I needed an amp that I can lug around the house with me when I am in the mood to practice. I wanted something that was wireless and lightweight. I hit the lotto with this one. It checked all the boxes for me. Let me add that I purchase 5 different amps and this is one of only two that had the easy of mobility, rechargeable and good volume and sound. In short, great for a practice amp. ... show more

  • The look and size are perfect

Not so many options for effects but I am good with that I enjoy it more on a acoustic/electric! Sweet little machine!

  • Decent portable amp for learning and/or travel
Color: Pink
I got this amp for two reasons: 1) to practice easily while traveling to visit family every summer, and 2) so my daughter could have an amp for her lessons that offered more than her current 1W no-feature portable amp. For both those purposes, the JUSTPRO 5W amp performs admirably. It doesn't offer the best sound quality, but I didn't expect that at this price. The quality is decent enough to practice without feeling the need to cringe, though, and it offers a number of features for sound adjustment that aren't generally found in inexpensive amps. The typical treble, bass, and master knobs are present, as well as two “EFX” knobs that have four options for effects between them (R-Room, R-Hall, Chorus, Delay), all of which work well. Additionally, a toggle switch can change the amp from clean to overdrive or distortion. Fortunately, the amp accepts a standard headphone jack because it can get loud, impressively so for such a small device, particularly when using overdrive or when the volume on my guitar is also turned up. I was able to plug my guitar cable into the input without issue and received a clean sound without delay, crackling, or any other type of interference, with one exception---while using the amp with a USB-C cord plugged in (charging), electrical interference became intolerable, but that was the only time I had an issue despite trying the amp in various rooms and on multiple floors of my house. The amp is hefty for its size, though still easily portable, and the handle attached to the amp is comfortable in my hand. Externally, the JUSTPRO amp appears well-built. None of the knobs or switches feel cheap or flimsy. All of the inputs accepted their respective cables securely, and the Bluetooth was quick and simple to set up---simply hold down the power button until the Bluetooth light blinks, locate the amp on the desired receiving device’s Bluetooth list, and select to connect. The amp synced quickly with my S22 Ultra, and I was able to play music through the amp’s speaker without a noticeable delay. It is worth noting that my guitar did continue to work through the amp while music played, which technically means I could play along with the songs I'm learning, but I couldn't get the volume between the two devices to balance well enough to make that truly feasible. Even with my phone’s volume at 20% and my Strat’s at 10, the music overwhelmed my guitar. This amp allows recording via Bluetooth and tablet/phone software or by plugging in an aux cable, but I wouldn’t use it expecting stellar results. It’s a good way to get song ideas down or to record practices, however, which is ideal for my daughter as she’s learning. At the end of the day, it’s a good portable amp to have for travel, and it’s a great way for my daughter to start playing around with tones and effects without me having to make a heavy investment. I’m pleased with it. ... show more

  • Nice sound, decent effects, good volume. Doubles as a Bluetooth speaker.
Color: Pink
After my wife claimed that I have too many bulky amplifiers, and asked that I only keep one in the living room, I decided to downsize for when I practice. Starting off I've mostly played my bass through it. I've had no trouble with it, or with damaging the speaker, but at the same time, I don't play with the volume maxed out on the heavier settings, overdrive and distortion. It has good sounds and each channel has sounded decent enough so far. The overdrive doesn't crunch, but instead has a warm boost that feels good to the ears. The distortion channel is the exact opposite when it comes to the sound. It gets pretty distorted, and while there's no gain control, I'm sure using your volume knob would give you some degree of how loud or distorted your sound can be. In addition, you have a basic 2 band Equalizer; Bass and Treble knobs. The built in effects are okay as well. I expected the absolute zero for the effects knobs to be in the 12 o'clock position (so going left would increase one effect and turning right would increase the other) but instead, it is all the way to the left. It's still not difficult to operate though. It's fairly lightweight, too. I've had no problem carrying it by the rubber strap handle. It doesn't take up a lot of space, either. I've used it once or twice as a Bluetooth speaker, and it has a good sound with that too. I've used it a couple of times as a standalone speaker, but I mostly stick with using it for an amp without using any of the other features, like possibly mixing a backing track through the speaker. Compared to what most modern practice amps have, this one has quite a few more features than the average amp, and were this my first practice amp, I feel like I would have been satisfied with the quality of it. I can't say I've ran the battery out yet, and I usually play for around an hour a couple of times per week. ... show more

  • Cheap but fun amp in a small package
Color: Pink
As for the positives, I'm actually impressed with the amount of effects and features on this amp. The reverb and chorus work great, and the bluetooth functionality is a welcome bonus. It can also get surprisingly loud. The quality is far from amazing, as you would expect from the price. The sound quality is just not good. The overdrive and distortion just turn on and off and cannot be adjusted whatsoever. The biggest issue I had was that the screw for the handle instantly sheared out the threads. If you're serious about playing guitar I wouldn't recommend this product, but if you want a cheap portable amp to take out in the woods and have fun with, this does the job. ... show more

  • Nice portable amp
Color: Blue
This amp is nice for portability. The downside is it's not rechargable and takes batteries. But the overall if you're looking for a nice portable amp this is a good find.
