I tested with an iPhone 13 Pro, a Squier Classic Vibe 50s, and a pair of Joyo wireless devices. In case you don't know, the Joyos take the place of an audio cable from the guitar to the amp. It can play clean or with distortion. Clean is fine, but the distortion setting leaves something to be desired. I'm a beginner, so a small amp would be good to practice with. The downside of this amp is that even cranked all the way up and my guitar at max volume, it doesn't deliver. I don't have to worry that someone will tell me to turn it down. As a Bluetooth speaker, you can pair it with your phone the way you would with any Bluetooth speaker. The problem is that you can buy higher quality speakers for less money. It's not that it's a bad Bluetooth speaker. It's just that you can do better, sometimes paying less. Here's the lowdown. If you are a beginner with electric guitars, it's perfectly fine. In fact, I will take it along with me when I want to practice somewhere other than my home. The rechargeable battery is much better than having to insert your own batteries, it's small, and when you're a beginner, you don't want people to hear you anyway. When you get past the beginner stage, enough so that you don't mind others hearing you, you will want something else. Until then, while you can get a better Bluetooth speaker for a little less, you would be hard-pressed to find an amp, any amp, at this price. There are some very good mini amps. Much better than this one. But you will pay many times more for them too. ... show more

You really can't beat the value here--considering that you're getting a guitar amp that also doubles as a Bluetooth speaker. I connect it to my phone to listen to music and it's nice and loud. I love that! I've been also playing around with the guitar input jack. I just don't think you can say enough about the versatility of this small unit. And it's rechargeable via the USB-C input. For Amazon's current price of around $30, it seems to offer a lot of options for very little money. Is the sound quality the absolute best you'll ever find? Probably not. But for the money, if you want a rechargeable combination Bluetooth speaker and guitar amp, this has to be the best value around. Recommended... ... show more

The bluetooth connected pretty quickly and the sounds is good. No thundering bass but it sounds good when used as a portable speaker. With my guitar hooked up it sounds good too, but don't be expecting some high dollar amp, this is a great little portable amp to play around a campfire or a chill night at the beach.
