I once stayed Cambridge city for a long business trip and knew a kind guy, Jimmy, he's good at gardening, always shared me some juicy tomatoes. It really tastes good!! Afterwards, I traveled back to China, can't taste such sweet tomatoes any more. Weeks ago, I saw Jimmy and his tomato seedlings on social media, he complained the weather almost killed tomato plants.     • Mini greenhouse
I got this to get my hot weather plants started inside the high tunnel I have with a little more protection. I moved to a colder growing area where we do get snow so I got a high tunnel. I read that if you put a greenhouse inside an unheated greenhouse or high tunnel that you go up another growing zone which would put me back where I was used to growing. So this fixes that problem. It is still a little early with short days to start them but I have it all ready when it is time. It is a complete kit, the only problem I see is the stakes that make up the support don't always stay together and that makes it is a little harder to get the cover on and things to stay supported. I put them together and walked them to where they would be use leaving a trail of pieces of green plastic stakes behind me. Being inside of another high tunnel I don't have to worry about the wind like I would out in the open like normal gardening. I will also be able to take off the cover when it turns hot and as long as the plants aren't too tall I can put shade cloth or other protectant covering over the frame. I might also move it once they are up and plant lettuce or other crops that are shorter and need shade. There are options once you get it set up. Made in China. ... show more

Very easy to assemble. The only drawback would be no vent holes to let out some of the heat. I just cut a few myself.

I was going to use it on my raised garden bed today, but I found I couldn't use it at all, it was too small! Even my smallest garden bed doesn't work. If you are looking for a mini tunnel greenhouse, maybe you can give it a try.

Great kit that will let you set up neat tunnels, it's especially helpful if you're just beginning gardening. This kit is easy to assemble, and comes with everything you need. It will be nice to protect the vegetables from gophers and rabbits this spring, and it should also protect from the weather a bit. Yes, it is on the smaller size, as it is the mini kind, but that's adequate for many vegetables. And for this price, getting everything you need, including the sheeting, feels like a bargain. My sister and her daughter have moved to a new home in a new climate. They both love gardening but have had to adjust to new gardening challenges. They have started using raised beds to help with critter control but they also want to start their beds earlier than the outside weather might strictly allow. They are thrilled with this mini greenhouse kit. They want to start small their first growing season so this is the perfect size for their needs. Snow is rare in their new environment but it does sometimes occur so they aren’t planning on trying to use this over the winter. Their goal is to jumpstart the growing season and this little greenhouse idea can help them protect baby plants from an unexpected late frost or from becoming lunch for a hungry rabbit. Once plants are established and on their way they plan to re-configure this into a shape and size that will hopefully help protect berries from the birds while still allowing lots of air circulation. They were thrilled with this gift and have now that they know they can get an early start they have moved into seed catalog mode. Everything is straight forward and easy to set up. For what you get, it's a good deal. The plastic will hold up for at least 1-2 seasons, and the same can be said for the frame by my estimation. I would recommend assembling this somewhere away from heavy winds, however this will extend the grow season and it's easy to get this started and going. There is plenty of plastic to cover the needs of this greenhouse tunnel. Now it's secure in place, and I don't see it falling apart very easily, however it would not withstand more than a moderate amount of snow or wind by the looks and feel of the frame. Still, if you're getting into growing your own crops, this seems like a great way to get started. ... show more
