I love the fact that batteries are type C charger, makes it very easy. Setup took less then 5minutes to get aquainted with the controller and app. The drones compact size is quite nice and comes with a case for fun. The camera quality, and livestream video feed are quite responsive while with 1080p video. Note you will have to adjust the camera angle, as it coming out of the package did not quite suite for flying, as it was facing straight forward. This unit is quite easy to use, with battery life about 10 minutes in minimal winds outside. I would avoid using it more then 10 ft high, as it would most likely get carried away but for around the backyard or at a park, its great to get started. ... show more

This drone comes with all that you need to fly out of the box. I was glad to see that it came with two batteries, and propeller guards. I haven't flown RC toys in a while, and I knew I wasn't going to be that good at flying this on the first try. The propeller guards really saved me from breaking it within the first 5 minutes. The second battery also allowed me to fly for longer periods of time without feeling that I wasn't getting enough play time. I really enjoyed these aspects of the toy. The drone was easy enough to fly, I had to do minor trim adjustments to get it to hover in place. However, the app could use some work. It's not very clear how to connect the phone to the drone, but all you need to do is to go to your wifi settings and choose the wifi signal that the drone is emitting and then you should be good to go. The app will eventually detect that you are paired with the drone and will start the camera feed. I recommend flying this thing in a large open space, I don't think it has precise enough movements nor the stability to fly around small spaces. I initially tried flying in my apartment and I had a really hard time avoiding crashing in my narrow hallways and small rooms. I tried again in my parent's house which has a large living room, and it was a much better experience. If you have a large open space, I think you will quite enjoy playing with this drone. The biggest con to this drone is the camera. While I had no problems with the live camera view or with signal connection (I experiences no feed drops), the camera quality is seriously bad if the lighting in the environment is not bright. It becomes grainy, dark, and plain hard to see what is going on. It is improved in brighter light, but don't expect anything you see on a DJI commercial. I also liked the fact that you could take pictures on the drone and send it back to your phone instantly. Also, you cannot wirelessly adjust the position of the camera—you have to do it manually with the drone in hand. But, I can't really complain at this price point. Overall, I think this is a good choice for kids starting out with drones or someone who just wants something that can give them a bit of fun. It definitely is easy to fly and will help you build confidence with drone flying. ... show more
