The media could not be loaded. We bought this drone with the intention of sharing it between dad and son, but so far, it's been my son taking the skies. I've been busy with training modules on the laptop, with mixed success. The drone's speed and agility are truly impressive. We've chased birds, cars, and even wild animals from high above, capturing some amazing footage. Watching the video replay is just as thrilling as flying the drone itself. My son loves the FPV experience, and he can switch between safety mode for beginners and full-speed mode for some seriously wild flying. We’ve sent it so high and far that we lost sight of it, but the return-to-home feature is fantastic—just push a button, and the drone flies back and lands gently. The drone is lightweight, though heavier than expected, and the battery life is robust but short, typically lasting 10-15 minutes. Given the short flight times, extra batteries are a must. You'll also need a special case and potentially a second drone for spare parts, which is par for the course with any hobby. Overall, it's an amazing drone with a few extra costs and considerations.     • Don't waste your time
Useless purchase, spent several hours messing with this drone, it wont Activate, followed and watched several videos, following each step and nothing. Contacted DJI support, spent over an hour with them and still wont activate. Apparently this is why someone return it, the listing states This product is inspected, tested, and refurbished, as necessary to be fully functional according to Amazon Renewed standards. No is was not tested and inspected otherwise everything would be working as it should. Very frustrated waited several days for the drone to arrive, then wasted several hours just trying to set it up. My brother bought his new and came over to go over and set it up and he could not get it to activate and he has the exact same FPV drone. Spent several hours updating all the Firmware, then the remote would not activate. One would think when something is refurbished back to be fully functional , this would all be completed by the so called "Authorized DJI technicians" I am going to buy another one and it will not be from Amazon. DJI actually sells re manufactured drones on there web site, either going to buy new or refurb from this site. ... show more

Package was in original foam but no box. All things included and looked new with unopened packaging on most things. Easy set up and updates only took about 20 minutes for drone, goggles and remote. Flew this weekend with no issues. Would suggest different goggle headband as the OE one is very uncomfortable for me. As for an easy transition into FPV I would give this a must try ... show more

    • Don’t get discouraged with the set up because it had me firing on all cylinders for a minute
I know the activation part can be very irritating to some. It did frustrate me a little bit but once I got it, boy, oh boy was it worth it! This damn thing is wicked fast if you put this thing in sport mode, just be ready because it will climb altitude so fast and it will go in whatever direction you want to at about 90 miles an hour and that’s no joke. It is very easy to fly the FPV goggles are incredible! You may want to sit down though or lean up against something while you’re flying because it will throw your equilibrium off a little bit especially if you get Squirrley with it if you get Motionsickness, I wouldn’t recommend fast jerking motions. The quality is top-notch. The performance is top-notch. The range is top-notch connectivity is incredible. Have not one bad thing to say about this drone other than I wish the flight had a little more time on it because it’s just so amazing. I could fly this thing for hours on end, it looks like I will be fortune because I love that much! ... show more

    • There's Still a Learning Curve for Newbie getting into FPV
Learning to bind goggles to drone n transmitter will be somewhat challenging for Newbie. Then the other part to this is you have download and run the DJI Fly app which is another steep learning curve if you do not have a newer cell phone. Also, takes a laptop to get it activated then DJI makes you have to pay to fully activate your drone. Probably due to FAA b.s. your drone has to have registered I.D. If you're doing this for your job as a UAV pilot, that's fine. But, for a newbie that wants to get into this,,,,, up to you.... User experience totally sucks, unless you like having your teeth pulled just to get into fpv.. ... show more

This thing is amazing. I didn’t really believe it would be this awesome. You should buy a real case for it and you might want spare batteries. the flight battery lasts like 15m on “sport mode” but it flies like an F16 and covers. lot of ground in that time. the video is amazing. they sell lens filters for different light that are worth the $30. ... show more

I loved the fact that it was fast I also like the fact that it is compatible with the motion controller. Although I do not like the fact that both times I have purchased the same drone and both times it acted sporadically and during flight actually it was while it was hovering all of a sudden it took off to the left and then back to the right and did that two or three more times in a matter of a couple seconds and then it shot straight up in the air the goggles quit recording at 226 ft but the Drone kept going in the lower right hand corner of the goggles it said battery overload battery overload battery overload flashing and then it went completely dead and came straight down to the ground and landed on my neighbor's roof and destroyed the Drone so after I sent that drone back which UPS seem to lose in the mail and still have not refunded me I bought the Avatar 2 and that drone flew amazingly it was very simple to hook to the motion controller where the DJI fpv was not as easy it was almost like the Avada 2 was built for the motion controller where the DJI fpv made it an absolute hassle and a pain in the butt to hook the motion controller to the DJ ifp anyway both times I ordered the DJI fpv it acted total sporadically like a misbehaved puppy ... show more
