The Dji fpv is incredible fast we’ll built and real fast ,did I mention fast enough..it’s best of both worlds a gps stable drone and a free style fpv ..the view is amazing and worth the money alone rock solid transmission very clear video and display my only regret was not buying it 2 years ago but the price has dropped so ya ! If you buy the combo get the extra batteries and some kind of case either a backpack or hard case see also get the refresh insurance it’s a extra $199 but it’s worth it I have it on my other 3 Dji drones and the security of knowing Dji has the best customer service in the drone industry is worth it download the Dji virtual flight app and learn to fly in manual then you can do all the flips and whipping around you can handle but to be honest the standard and sports modes kick but normal it 36 mph and sports is over 65 mph ..manual it’s 90 mph either way it’s a kick in the pant plus the emergency stand obstacle avoidance both work well ..what are you waiting for stop drink beer and buy yourself a fpv drone ….now!!! I did and I’m so very happy I did simply incredible….and fast !!!! ( I have the combo extra batteries and case $300 cheaper then when it came out 2 years ago for just the Combo ) sweet ... show more

    • Flight Battery was no good
I received my DJI FPV today and I was so excited to check it out and start learning how to fly it. Well my excitement turned to major irritation when I went through the set up process and discovered my flight battery will not even power up . I contacted Amazon and they credited my gift card account for the amount of a replacement battery and that was cool but now I’m on hold again while I wait for that to arrive and after reading the instructions further discovered the battery won’t activate until plugged into the charger so it is entirely possible I could have a faulty charger and will need to go through this again. If you order this refurbished drone don’t expect it will work right out of the box . I will update this review further once I receive the new battery but I am already at the point I wish I had just purchased the new drone ... show more

Would recommend ordering a spare battery for the drone as well as the goggles and a spare set of propellers as they are the most likely parts to be damaged, and extra battery for more fun Everything looks brand new, was initially mislead the propellers looked like only B propellers but inside each box was an A & B set ... show more

    • Don't waste your time
Useless purchase, spent several hours messing with this drone, it wont Activate, followed and watched several videos, following each step and nothing. Contacted DJI support, spent over an hour with them and still wont activate. Apparently this is why someone return it, the listing states This product is inspected, tested, and refurbished, as necessary to be fully functional according to Amazon Renewed standards. No is was not tested and inspected otherwise everything would be working as it should. Very frustrated waited several days for the drone to arrive, then wasted several hours just trying to set it up. My brother bought his new and came over to go over and set it up and he could not get it to activate and he has the exact same FPV drone. Spent several hours updating all the Firmware, then the remote would not activate. One would think when something is refurbished back to be fully functional , this would all be completed by the so called "Authorized DJI technicians" I am going to buy another one and it will not be from Amazon. DJI actually sells re manufactured drones on there web site, either going to buy new or refurb from this site. ... show more

    • Meh flight performance, uncomfortable controller, super expensive batteries.
Heavy, expensive(especially batteries!), not durable, very sluggish and drifty flight performance, unable to adjust tune, footage is meh, prefer gopro. Controller is to small for me(moderate hands, pinching/hybrid style) and stock sticks are more for thumbers. Unable to adjust horizontal gimbal tension and gimbal throw range is very short, makes it feel very weird compared to a typical tx. Good feature set for new pilots, but you’ll out grow it very quickly compared to a far less expensive rtf 5” drone. That being said, the learning curve involved in a typical fpv drone is far more expensive time wise. Go with what fits the currency you have more of, time or money. ... show more

    • There's Still a Learning Curve for Newbie getting into FPV
Learning to bind goggles to drone n transmitter will be somewhat challenging for Newbie. Then the other part to this is you have download and run the DJI Fly app which is another steep learning curve if you do not have a newer cell phone. Also, takes a laptop to get it activated then DJI makes you have to pay to fully activate your drone. Probably due to FAA b.s. your drone has to have registered I.D. If you're doing this for your job as a UAV pilot, that's fine. But, for a newbie that wants to get into this,,,,, up to you.... User experience totally sucks, unless you like having your teeth pulled just to get into fpv.. ... show more
