    • Perfect fit and appearance for US 2018 Model S
Size: For Tesla S/X Cubby Drawer
This fits perfectly in the cubby for my US 2018 Model S. It has zero setup- it just slides right in. There is enough resistance so that it doesn't bounce around as the car drives or slide out on its own- you have to pull it out for it to come out. But the resistance isn't so high that it feels jammed or stuck. It's just right. The appearance is also just right. It matches my car's interior well enough that it's not obvious that it didn't come as part of the car. It looks good. The extra space is very useful. I keep my sunglasses, pens, coins, etc. in here. Given the Model S's sparse interior, there wouldn't be a good space for these things otherwise, and the cubby wouldn't keep anything secure without this, so it makes a useless space useful. The reviewers complaining that this doesn't fit seem to be British. I guess this means this doesn't fit Model S's that have the driver's side on the right. But if your driver's side is on the left (like in the US) it should be perfect. ... show more

    • Functional but problematic
Size: For Tesla S/X Cubby Drawer
The drawer seems to fit pretty well but it has two major problems. First, you can only pull it out about two inches before it sort looses all support and dangles from the dash. If you place a pair of sunglasses in the front section, you can't really remove them without pulling the drawer past the dangle edge and thus creating a juggling act of the drawer and the sunglasses; not something you want to happen while driving. I docked it a star for this issue. Second, pushing the drawer a little too far in will jam it up making it very hard to pull out. It seems to be pretty easy to jam so press lightly; it will still stay in. To remove it once its jammed requires using a pulling force at each of the under edges in alternating fashion to un-wedge it. I docked it a star for this issue as it happens far too easily. Think of it more like a hidden storage for things you don't need to access very often and it solves that problem. But if you want something accessible and handy like the location really should be used for then this product doesn't do it. But after reviewing others designs and comments on them; I am not sure any of the current "drawers" will be any different. The cubby just isn't designed to have a drawer in it. ... show more

I purchased this after seeing reviews from others about how handy it was to have a sliding drawer for the cubby hole. I really like this unit. It fits perfectly, and hides the cubby hole, which should help to stop other members of my family from swiping my bubble gum and loose change. It sure looks a lot better than having items in the cubby hole visible to everyone in the cabin. No regrets on this purchase. ... show more
