Installation was simple and quick, just stretch it over the console and secure it with the elastic bands. The bands also double as a type of cover for the hidden opening on the underside of the lid. The console door cover fits very snuggly to the compartment's door with wide elastic straps. The straps completely cover the recess on the inside of the door, effectively making it a usable storage space, too. I recently took a long car ride and it was very comfortable for my right arm and elbow, something I can't say about the driver's door arm rest. My only issue is that, when the seat moves back and forward when switching between the driver's profile and the Easy Access profile, the cover does rub against the outside of the right side bolster. I imagine over several years, either the bolster or the cover (or both) will wear out at that spot. ... show more
