I bought this and tried to cancel the order within an hour and was unable to. My thought was that the design of the cover would not coordinate very well with the spartan interior of the Model 3. When it arrived, I put it on and, for about 10 minutes, it did seem to clash. But, after just a few minutes of getting visually used to the design, it became clear that I would not be returning this item. Yes, it does clash slightly. The interesting part is that it's functionality far outweighs any aesthetic considerations. And, aesthetics are subjective regardless. What I can objectively say about this product is that the comfort of your arm when resting on the cushioning provided by the foam layer, is a 100% improvement over the stock armrest. It is so much more comfortable, it can be challenging to quantify. Suffice to say that, for someone who values design over function in most instances, this simple and inexpensive cover is delightful. Get it. Try it. Return it if you do not like it. But, as my apprehension illustrated: your concerns about it may be unfounded once you experience the feel of it. The one thing that the manufacturer should change immediately is the red tag on the unit. It does not say KMMotors. It says it in Chinese characters. Speaking from the perspective of an American, I can say this is the one miss for this product. Since I worked in China for years, it is not unusual to see tags like this. What the Chinese fail to understand is that it is not something that is attractive outside of China. I would recommend you just cut your tag carefully out once you have decided if the product is right for you. So, the one problem with this items is solvable. Item arrived as pictured on Amazon. Quality is perfect with no flaws in the material or seams. Installation was simple and quick, just stretch it over the console and secure it with the elastic bands. The bands also double as a type of cover for the hidden opening on the underside of the lid. That allows me to tuck small valuable items into the little square recessed space and hold then securely. The diamond-stitched material is very thick, soft and comfy for my right arm. I've had it installed for over a year and it still looks good as new. Great accessory for my Model 3 Tesla. ... show more

Installed into my Telsa Model Y and at first I was kinda skeptical about it... my wife really wanted it. But I have to say it looks really sharp and if you put your elbow on it for extended periods of time, it's a lot more comfy than not having it.
