This is a well built battery operated benchtop drill press. Keep in mind this is for light duty work. I've been using it the past couple days on a project where I have to make holes and thin metal name plates, in order to accommodate a neck chain. I have over 250 pulls to drill and be small 2x3 pieces of metal. Which makes this great is the portability as I was able to put it in our office space and work on it throughout the day while tending to other business and tasks in between. So far I've drilled over 70 holes and I'm still on the first battery. The unit itself is built well, a combination of plastic and metal of course, but all the parts seem manufactured well and pretty good quality. I mentioned this is a light duty drill, it's not that it doesn't have a lot of torque, it seems like it does, but it's very small unit and seems more suited for smaller projects. I have a full size bench top electric drill so this is a good supplement to that. I'm really liking this drill and I highly recommend it at this point in time. Of course I can't speak to longevity, and I haven't needed to charge the batteries yet, so I can't comment on how long it takes. But these are small factors when it comes to a tool like this, in my opinion. Again, the run time off one battery for light duty work already surpassed my expectations. I will update this review if need be. For now I think it's a great value for a good tool. ... show more

This mini bench top drill is compact but very sturdy and easy to use. The package came with a mini electric drill press, a vise, two 21V 4Ah batteries, one Battery charger, a power adapter, and a small instruction manual. You can use either the 21V battery or the AC adapter to power this unit. The drill press is very well-made and good quality. The height can be adjusted. This mini drill will not replace the standard size but it is very handy to have for my DIY project. It is very flexible and portable because it can be powered via a battery so I can use it inside the house on small tasks. Overall, I really like the quality and portability of this mini drill and I highly recommend this product. ... show more

I needed a smaller, lighter drill press that I can pull out and use and this is perfect. It is still fairly heavy and well built, but super easy to pull out and use on quick or small projects. If you want to punch a hole in something and make it dead center where you want it, a drill press is essential. ... show more

Nice little drill press, particularly for projects I have that are not close to electrical outlets (like where my raised garden beds are located on my yard, which is about 1.5 acres), since these can be battery powered.
