its kinda cheaply made and mine came broken but i put it back together as best i could. overall its functional so i suppose thats the important part. i’ll attach a picture of the part that broke off completely and how poorly i put it back together. unfortunately i dont have a ‘before’ pic. but the last pic is how its SUPPOSED to look ... show more

This is a nice lap desk. The only thing I don't like is that the stability of the legs. They don't latch and any wrong movement the leg will fold and your laptop or anything on the desk will slip off.

Well,.....I really wanted to like this! I saw a few reviews on them and decided to take a chance on it because it was a good deal and looked pretty good. I was going to use it for my MacBook Pro and for reading textbooks on while on the couch and for the occasional meal. First one arrives, and the little bumper to keep your laptop/book/etc from sliding into your lap was really wobbly. Didn't seem super sturdy but my needs were not for super sturdy. I got the tray up and it was okay, but the edges were a little splintery and the drawer so small it cannot fit two flat highlighters (you know the Sharpie Clear View ones? So flat!) So I ordered another one that was delivered the next day. Same thing with the bumper thing, but the fit was more snug. I decided to give it a try with reading on the couch with a soft cover textbook that weighs about 5 lbs max. I read for about 25 mins. then when I went to put the tilt thing down, I noticed it wouldn't go quite flat. Then I saw the HUGE crack on the part of the table that remains flat. Then I discovered that that part of the table started to wobble, and the table would not have all four legs on the floor at the same time. Less than an hour and the thing is broken irretrievably and it's not like I did wild stuff on it or had a kid or dog using it. So, two different ones and both were just bad. Yes it's a good price, but not a good product. I just purchased this one, and it's easily 200% better and you can actually fit stuff in the drawer!!
