Bought these because I needed vice grips and Milwaukee always makes great products, and this is no different. very solid, can't say much about vice grips, they either work and don't break, or don't work and break. These are solid and work. I also enjoy the extra long red loop for breaking the pressure, makes it a bit easier then your in tight spots or wearing gloves. The teeth are a very aggressive profile, so that could be a pro or con depending on what you need it for. The tip of each where the jaw connects is smoother, but still with some grit to it so you can still get grip w/o tearing things up too much. ... show more

I've been replacing cheap tools in my toolbox and it was time for some new locking pliers. I really like the fact you can adjust the tension on the jaws with a screwdriver to really get a good tight hold on a bolt or other object.
