    • It’s not about your avocado toast
Very simple process, but not easy. This is a very practical guide to building real wealth on a finite income. It’s a bit different than the common advice you see online but can yield much better results if you’re motivated. If you want to just “live for the moment” and paycheck to paycheck, this might not be for you. This book is better suited for people who like to grow and build a better life.     • Changed My Life (no seriously!)
Do you want simple steps and a financial map to make wealth inevitable and automatic?! Buy this book. I am an engineer, so processes, especially processes that have justification backed up with data, make sense to me. Other money gurus made me just dismiss everything they would say as soon as I could shoot holes in their math fallacies, or that it was clear they made money on selling courses or other means, rather than actually "eating their own cooking". I had seen people who might promise high returns in the market, or dept crusaders who say mathematically illogical things about getting out of debt. I could always see right through get rich quick schemes. Unfortunately, that made me think that paying off my credit card every month, and getting my employer free money in a 401K was enough, and the money left after that was mine to spend. That is not what is in this book. I started listening to the Money Guy show during covid, and the first time I heard about the Financial Order of Operations, it blew my mind. Brian explained the process to know what each of your dollars should do, justified with actual math. This book has great detailed explanations, but at the same time has a very simple process that anyone can follow and follow with confidence. Since listening to the money guy show, my net worth has increased by 4-fold over the last 4 years! I got the book yesterday in the mail and finished it today.     • No-nonsense guide to your better financial life

Firstly, I've been following Brian's YouTube channel since I found them in 2019. I went into this book knowing the basics of the Financial Order of Operations and already applying this to my life. What I loved about this book versus just watching his content were all the personal anecdotes and his honesty about what Brian has faced and done in his own life- not limited to just financial decisions. This book is really about creating a life well lived. The financial advice in this book is accessible to anyone. The FOO is a guide for what to do with your next dollar, and if you follow it, there's a good chance you'll live without fear of not having enough or working until you die on the Walmart floor. I started with $40k of high interest debt in 2019 when I found The Money Guy. Now we're debt free except for our low interest mortgage with ample savings and investments (index funds, of course!) If not for the FOO, I don't know if I'd ever have climbed out of that hole. Pick up this book if you're looking for financial freedom and you're ready to put in the work. Brian makes it simple, and the plan works. Maximize the time you have left in life and get to work on making your Dollars work harder for you!     • Outstanding book! Must read for all.
Amazing book. Brian keeps complex subjects entertaining. Let's face it listening to numbers and rules can be boring but Brian does a great job making it enjoyable to read. He really teaches you the beauty of compound interest. Become a financial mutant. Your family will thank you, your grandchildren will thank you and your legacy will thank you. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone whether you are fresh out of college or five years from retirement. ... show more

    • MUST READ to take personal finance seriously
If only Amazon allowed me to rate a book more than just 5 stars! Let me start by saying what this book isn't. It's NOT: -Your run-of-the-mill self help type of book like others cluttering book shelves -Written by some random internet personality -A "get rich quick" scheme On to what this book is. It IS: -Practical & useful -Clearly written -Conveys powerful messages -One of the most important books for you, your friends, your family, and your students of all ages Millionaire Mission contains the tried, true, and realistic steps required to take your personal finances seriously. Not only does it introduce a "Financial Order of Operations" but it explains the why behind each step. What's beautiful about this process is it's applicable to everyone, regardless of where you currently are in your journey.
