  • Very informative and educational book for youth
This book stands out because it could be used to educate our youth (high schoolers and college students) who know very little about finances. The concepts are clear, concise, and easy to understand. Our youth can really get ahead knowing the information in the book. The only drawback is some concepts might be difficult for teens to understand just by reading alone. If the book is used as a supplement in a financial course where concepts can be discussed, explored, and expanded upon teens would understand more. I truly enjoyed this book and plan to implement concepts with my children. ... show more

  • For the young and old alike!
There's lots of great information in here that I wished I had learned when I was younger. Unfortunately, we aren't taught much about how to manage our personal finances in school and this book helps to close that gap. I wouldn't call myself financially illiterate but I hadn't realized how many techniques, strategies, and ideas I didn't know I could benefit from that this book covers. I won't spoil what's inside but it's a different read than your typical book on finance and that's refreshing! ... show more

  • good start for teens
Some good content but some information seems very obvious, and others seem a little out of date.

  • Good finance book for the entire family
I like how the book is relatable to the younger audience and how everyone in the family can also enjoy it. It's not a dry read but an engaging and fun one.

I was not disappointed. This book helped me so much. I learned a lot about finances as an adult for myself but also how to best teach my daughter. 5 stars! Glad I came across this book now! Better now! ... show more

  • Perfect read for students!
This book is well-written. It illustrates financial literacy in a manner that can hold the attention of both teens and young adults, alike. I especially like how it cuts to the chase and offers valuable, immediately actionable advice. I intend to put this at the top of my recommended reading list for all of my high school consumer math classes. ... show more

I am a high school mathematics teacher, and I teach a course on financial math. I am always looking for ways to supplement my curriculum or recommended readings for my students. This book for the bill. I have already begun referencing it in class, and have added it to my resource list.
