This is PERFECT for our small room. Need 2 beds when we have guests, but only one most of the time, so this works out great. Its sturdy, easy to put together, and both mattresses are regular twin size. Easy to pull out and set up. Looks great. Would highly recommend this bed.

These were easy to put together. The directions were clear. There isn't a lot of room on the pop up for a regular mattress so I bought a foam mattress. Works great.

Pros - looks pretty nice - assembly process is pretty good - ratchet tool included Cons - the metal is not super strong... most areas not impacted - lots of visible bolt heads... not a huge deal... pics online are accurate - received with some very minor scratches Notes: - manual doesn't say this ... but I really don't think the trundle should be used to sleep or bear any weight while on the floor... it should only bear weight with the legs extended... my son who is about 150 pounds was sitting on the trundle and the wheels did start to bend the metal... you can see where another reviewer took picks of completely bent metal around the trundle wheels. That section of the trundle frame should be strengthened... or the manufacturer should make it crystal clear that it cannot be used as a floor trundle... and should be used only with the trundle legs extended. ... show more

The box is heavy and very long. The bed is packed tightly, though. There was one extra of each type of screw provided which is a nice touch. This went together extremely fast with only myself doing it. It feels sturdy except for the rails. They feel a little too easily bent if an adult puts weight on it. I think a 1/4" piece of plywood is going to be laid on each bed so that the weight will be distributed more evenly. So far, I'm impressed. I'll update this once it gets some use. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to replace two perfectly good beds to conserve space and now I regret it. This bed can get scratched very very easily. The parts were being scraped up the entire assembly prossess and I was being extra careful to prevent it but to no avail. Looks like crap now. Despite the bolts being fully tightened there is still hairline gaps that allow the raw corners to be exposed and it’s very sharp. The trundle bed is super hard to fold down and thankfully I have hard floors otherwise the wheels wouldn’t move very well and I know that bc I DID have a big rug down then had to remove it. My 3 year old is barely 34 pounds and the metal creaks when he moves around on it. The slats are plastic. It’s thick plastic but they are slightly bendable. Thankfully the fit in the pockets snuggle bc they’d def slip out. All n all…..Waste of money honestly. ... show more

    • Easy assembly TERRIBLE SQUEAKING
The packages arrived quick, the assembly was a breeze, and it looks flawless. We were so excited to sleep on it and the very first night we had UNBEARABLE squeaking. Thought maybe we had to tighten some bolts but no. This bed will squeak with every toss or turn any movement. For this reason alone you should pass and go for something else. We are so disappointed as it is impossible to sleep with this bed frame if you are a light sleeper or have children that are sensitive to noise. Please consider before purchase. ... show more
