I recently needed an extra bed for guests and decided to try the Milliard Diplomat Folding Bed. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it is! The dual-sided mattress offers both a supportive foam base and a soft memory foam layer, allowing me to choose my preferred comfort level. Setting it up was a breeze—took me just about 10 minutes with the clear instructions provided. The full-steel wire lattice frame feels incredibly sturdy, supporting up to 300 lbs, which gives me peace of mind. I also love that it folds up to a slim profile for easy storage, and the smooth-rolling wheels make it simple to move around. My guests have commented on how well they slept, and I appreciate that the mattress cover is machine washable for easy maintenance. After reading the hundreds of descriptions of all the fold-up beds Amazon advertised, I chose this one due to its high reviews with minimal complaints. Let's face it, 99% of all the beds come from China and have countless flaws, some very serious , others minor. This bed came just as advertised with all its parts, nothing bent or broken. The foam mattress expanded up to 5" within an hour of taking it out of its plastic bag. It is more comfortable than expected (nicely firm) and had no odor to it, All the parts were very easy to put together following the order in the instructions. The braces are very sturdy and will support a lot of weight. It folds up nicely without any resistance. I will be buying a cover for for storing it when not in use for the family members who use it. One caveat: DO use the small thin spanner wrench to tighten the wheels. Hand tighten them as much as you can the until tightening only allows the included spanner wrench since the space between the castor and the bed frame is so narrow. Interestingly enough, if you follow out to the end of the five or more pages, you'll see the same beds for well over $1000 which make NO sense. I believe Amazon should delete such insanely priced items and stick to the ones with more realistic prices. This MIlliard was on the pricey side but appears to be well worth the money. This is a good bed that is pretty stable when folded out. It’s a little wobbly when transporting around so be cautious when doing that. But I would think that is the nature of most of these that give you some space saving. Matress is good also. Better than expected, if you find it not to be as supportive, maybe adding a mattress topper will help more. For it’s purpose it appears to be good for what it does. The one negative for me, is the casters. They are just quite subpar. They have issues with medium pile carpet and the wheel locks will drag into the carpet at all times when moving. See the attached picture on a laminate floor and how close the wheel lock in the off position is. It’s a bad design for a caster and makes for a poor movement if you have any decent amount of carpet. Not sure what I will do to fix this, might try to find other casters or trim down the wheel lock. Overall, a good portable bed that does a decent job for spacing saving when folded. Outside some minor issues I would say the value for the money is close. ... show more

When my mom comes over to my place I live in a 1bd 1ba and I have a twin. She takes my twin and I roll out this twin bed into my living room and it feels the same as my regular bed! It's so sturdy and well built I'm so impressed! I didn't want to get a cheap one especially knowing that it would probably hurt my back. I sleep so good on this mattress but I noticed it is a bit thin, still comfortable and not too bad. I added a foam mattress topper like someone else did who purchased this bed and it is so comfortable! Yes it's a little on the expensive side but it is really a high qualitu product! The packing for shipment on this bed was amazing. Everything arrived intact. Frame was easy to assemble. Instructions were clear. The frame is very sturdy. The mattress once it’s been out of the package for a few hours is very comfortable. I would recommend this folding bed.

I can not compare it to other foldable beds. The mattress is comfy the way it is, however I am still gonna order a 1in mattress topper. At first it can be hard folding the bed up, but after like the 4th time it got easier. It's sturdy. I would order this if it's on sale under $290.
