I looked and looked for a bean bag that was a good size but not overly huge. This one seems like a great one so far. Came shrink wrapped and then you let it expand. Our girl loves it.

The bean bag seems well made and sturdy. It has already survived repeated cannonballs from a 9 year old. The stuffing is cubed foam, and it comes compressed into a cube. Once you cut the plastic it begins to expand. The foam is contained in an inner black synthetic cloth bag. This bag has a small (foot long) zipper for removing foam. IMPORTANT: as the foam bag expands, you need to find that zipper and make sure it is on the same side as the outer zipper, or you are going to be really unhappy if you want to remove foam after it expands. You cannot remove the inner bag once it is fully expanded, or you will never get it back in. They tell you this in the instructions. I'm telling you this because the manufacturer doesn't put that in the instructions and it became a real challenge to get access to that inner zipper to remove foam. And you will likely want to remove some foam as it is pretty full. Also, the foam as a typical chemical smell that took a week to dissipate. ... show more

We got this one and the more expensive bean bag chair that makes out into a bed, you know the one. Any who this is the clear winner for my two kids and husband. It’s more supportive than the other. Time will tell how it holds up or when it needs cleaning but so far so good!

Foam bits never expanded, even after being pulled and teased out. We sent it back. Too bad the thing doesn't work bec it's a terrible waste of shipping costs, fuel, etc.
